Who wants to get shredded?
Time to push it! This photo was taken about a year and a half ago. I want to get back to this and get in “posted” shape. I’ve got about 20lbs to drop. I’m interested in who is up for walking along with me on this journey. I plan on stepping on stage somewhere in front of judges. As you know, I’d like to push myself beyond my comfort zone. The lessons learned along the way are undeniable. Facing our weaknesses and doubts. Struggles and failures. How to jump back on the path and continue walking. Finding our Identity in Christ, not the mirror (which was my first mistake) vanity can be a real problem. Let me know if you are up for coming along.

Always building this aging body of mine 😉 Great to have goals and someone to keep you on track. Post your updates and let’s gooooo! But, I’m not getting on a stage 🤣
Another blessed day
It was 35 deg when I started my hike today. After 3 hrs and 9 miles of talking with God, I have to say, I didn’t realize how far I traveled and how long I was on the trail. When I hike alone, he walks with me. There’s nothing like spending time in nature and observing his amazing creations while chatting with him about life. He’s a great listener and he always has a way of answering prayers 🙏
Another blessed day
Morning Roll Call — 3/26
Wake up call, not just physically—mentally and spiritually. You don’t drift into strength. You drift into weakness. So today isn’t about motivation… it’s about alignment. Most men are already negotiating before their feet hit the floor. “Snooze.” “Later.” “I’ll get to it.” That’s not fatigue—that’s compromise. And compromise stacks. Today, tighten it up. Lock your wake-up time. No negotiation. Get water in your system before anything else—clear the fog. Step into discomfort early—cold, movement, stillness. Train your response, not your feelings. Open Scripture before the world starts talking to you. Identity before input. Write something down—where you’re at, not where you wish you were. Then move your body with intention. Not for vanity—for readiness. Here’s the truth most men avoid: You don’t need a better plan today. You need to execute the one you already know. Because the gap isn’t knowledge… it’s obedience. And this is where most step out of the arena. They stay in the stands—thinking, analyzing, waiting for the “right moment.” But that’s not where transformation happens. Step into the arena or shut the gate. Victory favors the man in the dirt—breathing heavy, showing up, adjusting, pressing forward. Not the one watching. AIM for today: Assess — Where are you actually at right now? No spin. Identify — What’s the one thing trying to pull you off track? Move — What’s the next decisive action that proves who you are? No applause today. No audience needed. Just alignment. Now go put a mark on the day.

@Matthew Bagge lead, follow or get the heck out of the way 👍
Have you come to that point yet?
Many of you know that I am a service missionary in the addiction recovery program for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In the manual we use it says “We were finally willing to abstain when the pain of the problem became worse than the pain of the solution. Have you come to that point yet?” I’ve been relating this to the way I feel when I look in the mirror. I’m not overweight by any means, just not where I want to be. For me, the pain of not being jacked has become worse than the pain of waking up early and going to the gym 😂 There are lots of goals I could set. Track macros, work out, get my steps in, etc. rather than overwhelm myself with a list of things I need to do each day, I’ve decided to make one goal — wake up at 5 AM. I know if I can just accomplish this one goal, the rest will fall into place. It’ll be easy to go to the gym once I’m awake. Once I go to the gym, it’ll be easy to track food and track macros. And so on. Sometimes it’s not a list of things we need to do. Rather, it’s one thing that will make the most impact. What’s the one thing you can do such that by doing it everything else becomes easier or unnecessary? For me, it’s waking up on time, every time. I commit! Do you? 👊🏼

Thank you for sharing Brandon! I 100% agree! I’m up at 5am everyday and it certainly sets the tone with a win. I never set appointments until 8am. This gives me 3 hrs for me. I drink hot tea while checking in with my brothers 👊, stretch out and go to the gym. I get my workout in while focusing on goals and without focusing on the clock. This routine sets me up for success everyday!

@Matthew Bagge my issue started when I was doing full curls and rotating my palms backwards when arms extended down. That hyper extended my elbows, as I was trying to work the full bicep. I switched he’s to hammer curls and the issue went away. So, your chart makes perfect sense.
