Battling Porn/addictions?
Any of you guys interested in attending a course? https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DgaBUZbpA/?mibextid=wwXIfr I used to be a once a day get in and knock it out clean the pipes type of guy so I can focus on tasks. And my tasks were done the same way.. 😂 wham bam! On to the next... Much like my dating life during and after college.. biggest problem was alcohol. Numbing from any issues I had for years. I wish I knew how many guys were and are battling this behind closed doors. From their wives/girlfriends. And not knowing how destructive it is to their relationships, and their masculinity. Since I’ve quit I got more focus. So much, I push too hard! 😂 “THIS IS SPARTA! Type shit..” 😆 now it’s learning how to harness that energy/testosterone and make it work to my benefit! Like seeking Elk! Fitness, giving it to my wife in a positive and “productive” way.. I’m not perfect as from my post yesterday but we’re all a work in progress. Anyway I’ve reached out to her and see if she’d be willing to get on a call. See what can bring of this.

Another blessed day
It was 35 deg when I started my hike today. After 3 hrs and 9 miles of talking with God, I have to say, I didn’t realize how far I traveled and how long I was on the trail. When I hike alone, he walks with me. There’s nothing like spending time in nature and observing his amazing creations while chatting with him about life. He’s a great listener and he always has a way of answering prayers 🙏

I love hikes like that too. They become spiritual experiences. Here are some pictures of one of the best hikes I’ve ever been on with @Matthew Bagge. A trip I’ll never forget.
Who wants to get shredded?
Time to push it! This photo was taken about a year and a half ago. I want to get back to this and get in “posted” shape. I’ve got about 20lbs to drop. I’m interested in who is up for walking along with me on this journey. I plan on stepping on stage somewhere in front of judges. As you know, I’d like to push myself beyond my comfort zone. The lessons learned along the way are undeniable. Facing our weaknesses and doubts. Struggles and failures. How to jump back on the path and continue walking. Finding our Identity in Christ, not the mirror (which was my first mistake) vanity can be a real problem. Let me know if you are up for coming along.

Have you come to that point yet?
Many of you know that I am a service missionary in the addiction recovery program for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In the manual we use it says “We were finally willing to abstain when the pain of the problem became worse than the pain of the solution. Have you come to that point yet?” I’ve been relating this to the way I feel when I look in the mirror. I’m not overweight by any means, just not where I want to be. For me, the pain of not being jacked has become worse than the pain of waking up early and going to the gym 😂 There are lots of goals I could set. Track macros, work out, get my steps in, etc. rather than overwhelm myself with a list of things I need to do each day, I’ve decided to make one goal — wake up at 5 AM. I know if I can just accomplish this one goal, the rest will fall into place. It’ll be easy to go to the gym once I’m awake. Once I go to the gym, it’ll be easy to track food and track macros. And so on. Sometimes it’s not a list of things we need to do. Rather, it’s one thing that will make the most impact. What’s the one thing you can do such that by doing it everything else becomes easier or unnecessary? For me, it’s waking up on time, every time. I commit! Do you? 👊🏼
