I don't think I want to build this... I've spent 5 days doing R&D and an immense amount of tokens across multiple AI's to do the research on what I was Calling the Authors Business Command Center (ABC for short). I did this because as usual somebody else has something like it but not nearly enough for a stupid cost. $500 for the first year and $99/mo maintenance or the one that sent me over the edge into deep dive mode $1500 for a custom setup and config and $297 a month. Friends, if I can get my book sales to that point I'll call myself a successful author. I'm currently at about $200 a month right now +/- and doing next to no marketing (this will change shortly...more on this some other time). I was thinking maybe $29 a month was right with a $20 a month add on for webhosting author pages. Not sure how the math would play out yet but indie authors generally cannot afford expensive solutions but do deserver elite ones. Below is the 5th iteration of trying to make something huge digestible and it still feels too big. Probably should be a kickstarter. Read through the pitch document and convince me to do it. The pitch will show that a number of the pieces are already there just not done yet. This would be a totally separate beast from WCP, BW, TC, 3DBookMock, etc.. but does wrap everything up in a neat little bow. After spending this much time with it...I do not think it's time. I think I'll do something smaller, lighter with some of the features it has. I'm going to split my time this weekend between training videos and polishing some of the things I've hinted at, promised, and have hiding in the wings that you know nothing about yet. I currently have 162 projects opened on my tag board, all author related. I think maybe this one will wait, unless I get convinced otherwise.
