Roast my About Page Banner
It seems like the big take away with the skool growth boost is to optimize your about page banner. Here is my banner and it stinks, can I get some pointers on how to make it better? Here is the text of my about page which I am not planning on changing. --------------------------------------- 📐 Welcome to Drafting Workshop. Are you a CAD drafter specializing in millwork ready to stop competing in a flooded market and start building a career that pays more? I'm Steve Atencio a drafting coach with 30 years of architectural drafting experience, including 13 years specialized in millwork detailing and millwork drafting. At Drafting Workshop, I train and coach CAD drafters and millwork drafters who want to niche down into shop drawings and millwork, one of the most in-demand and under-supplied skills in the industry right now. We cover: ✅ Millwork detailing and shop drawings ✅ AutoCAD drafting skills and techniques ✅ Architectural drafting and interior design drafting ✅ CAD drafting skills from foundational to advanced You'll get live lessons, drawing audits, small courses, and direct access to me so you can start landing better work and charging more. 👉 Join free today and start your pivot.

@Steve Atencio the only thing I don't like about this is the very bottom line, and the other thing is the print. Can people see it on the phone as most use the phone? It is good though to get ideas here. As far as your comment about having gained 8 new members since we put the new one up, I think that is not something to knock. The page is converting people into your community. I know you're not, but a lot of people are about the numbers of people they can get. Wrong way to look at it. Doing it the way you're doing it, each person you're building a connection and trust with.

@Rb Rathore That is a nice one; it has you picture
I used Kirby's About Page GPT Helper
Hey there. Kirby shared a CustomGPT with us on last week's Skool Update (About page description (NOMAD Framework). I just used it for both of my communities. This is my new About Page for the Free Community. Would love to hear what you think about it! 👉 Free Skool Growth Training Community

@Laura Paulina So your 5 questions got you an about page that is not showing up in discovery.

@Laura Paulina I got to thinking about this after you were telling me your issues. This framework is relying totally on A.I. People really need to think about this because because Kirby is the one who did this up, and everyone has jumped on this thinking, If it worked for him it will for me. That is the wrong way to look at it. Although people do. Skool has been going since 2019 and he was one of the first that came on board. His community has 44.5k members; he has had 6 years to build that. Same as all the other ones that came in around that time. Look at where this framework has gotten you or any other person that is starting out. When someone comes up with an idea stop and do some research first and see why this is working.
Roast my ad
A bit of context before you read the ad copy: So I restructured my community and now I am looking for 3 founding members to join the premium tier (they will be part of it for free for life, as long as they are active to do the work and give honest testimonial). I am interested to know if this ad copy: 1. Sparks enough interest to keep reading it to the end 2. Makes the offer feel credible or too good to be true 3. Makes you want to click or not? This is the ad copy: Are you still struggling to get consistent clients even though you have the coaching skills? Do you feel like something keeps stopping you, and you can't figure out what it is? Something like the feeling you're not good enough. The anxiety of posting content. The fear of charging what you're worth. Or even the belief that all you need is a better business strategy. If yes, I get it. And I want to help you. I'm Alexandra, a performance coach and psychology graduate. I created The Growth Network to help coaches like you fix what's actually going on underneath, and then build a real client acquisition system on top of it. Inside TGN there's something special happening now. I've just rebuilt my premium membership and I'm looking for 3 coaches to join completely free, for life, before I open it to anyone else. Why join TGN? We will work together live every week on two things: The MAP - we find and remove what's been blocking you internally so you can finally show up consistently without the self-doubt pulling you back. The Growth System — a clear 4-phase system to attract and sign clients without the overwhelm. The first 3 coaches to join The Growth Network through the link below get in as founding members, free for life. Who is this for? This is for you if you have been in the coaching space for a while, you know what you need to do, but you keep finding yourself in the same place. You start, you stop. You post, then go quiet. You get on a discovery call and drop your price before they even push back.

@Alexandra Alexa See if this helps? The opening three questions are excellent. The anxiety of posting content. The fear of charging what you're worth. That's specific enough to make the right person stop scrolling and feel seen. That's rare. A few things worth tightening. "Something special is happening now" vague. You've been specific everywhere else on the page and then this line shows up. Cut it and go straight to what's happening. "Free for life" is mentioned twice in two paragraphs. You say it, move on, then say it again almost word for word. Pick one place and make it land harder instead of repeating it. "I've just rebuilt my premium membership" A skeptic reads this and wonders why it needed rebuilding. Was the old one not working? One word can plant a doubt you didn't intend. Consider cutting "rebuilt" and just saying "I've opened my premium membership." "Who is this for?" as a header everything before it already answered that question. This section is actually the strongest writing on the page You start, you stop. You post, then go quiet. You get on a discovery call and drop your price before they even push back. That deserves to be at the top not buried at the bottom. One-sentence takeaway: Move the "Who is this for" section to the top, cut the repeated free for life line, and this ad is ready to go. What do you think?
Roast My Post
Hello everyone, I just shared a new breakdown based on my honest experience dealing with one of the biggest mental hurdles in online business: seeing zero traffic for a full month. If you have ever felt discouraged when your content isn't getting immediate views or clicks, I mapped out the exact mindset and strategies that kept me motivated to keep publishing. I would love to get your thoughts and feedback on it. Check out the guide here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/aura26/blog/how-i-stayed-motivated-with-zero-traffic-for-a-month?a_aid=c1729252
