What matters MOST when booking a cruise?
Most people naturally lean towards one of these without even thinking about it… I’m really curious to see where everyone lands on this 👇

Price usually plays a big part in it for us, as we have to change our Canadian dollar to American. We are also very limited on days, as our kids are in school.!
The cost of my 15 night TA cruise🛳️💰
Let’s breakdown the cost of my 15 night transatlantic cruise on Odyssey of the seas.💰 Because I think this is where a lot of people get stuck with cruises, they see the total price, but not what that actually covers day to day.🛳️ For us, this cruise came to £2,754 in total for an ocean view balcony. That included 15 nights, taxes, port fees and gratuities (we always pay upfront). When you break that down, it works out at £91 per person, per night. And that is for basically everything onboard. We were having three meals a day, grabbing snacks in between, coffees throughout the day (Kevin especially 😅), and never once thinking about where we were going to eat or what anything cost. Breakfast in Two70, lunch wherever we fancied, dinner in the main dining room, it was all there. On top of that, all your entertainment is included as well. Shows like The Book and Showgirls, live music, quizzes, Seaplex, gym, and just being able to use the ship properly throughout the day. We had LOTS of sea days too, so we really got our moneys worth I think.😅 The only extra we paid was WiFi, which was £250 for one device for the full trip. I used GigSky, but even adding that in, it doesn’t massively change the overall cost when you spread it across 15 nights. One thing this cruise did confirm for me though is the balcony. It was nice to have, but we didn’t use it anywhere near as much as expected. The first part of the crossing the weather wasn’t great, and even when it improved, we still spent most of our time out and about on the ship. I think for a balcony it was still a great price, but could have cut the cost more with a different cabin… Curious, does that sound about what you expected, or higher/lower than you thought?👇

We are in an oceanview room for our upcoming transatlantic, for 3 of us @ 14 days. Was $2700 US (gratuities included). Works out to about $64.29 pppd, which is pretty decent!
Where are you now? LOL!
Where is everyone from? I am from New Brunswick, Canada. Do you fly or drive to your ports? Closest port is about 8-10 hours away, Boston, but we usually fly into Florida!

Carnival Freedom, August Port Canaveral to Barcelona! Any recommendations on how to get from BCN cruise port to BCN airport? Are ubers/lyfts reasonable or better to take a cab (we are a group of 7).

Any thoughts on Cruising with MSC from US Ports?
I'm considering gong on a group cruise from Port Canaveral on MSC Seashore. It isn't till early October so I have time to decide. I have never cruised MSC though they often come up on the lower end cost wise. I've heard mixed reviews, mostly on YouTube. Was wondering if anyone in this community has experience on their ships leaving from US ports. I'm aware of the general pro's and con's. I'm also aware they seem to be different sailing from EU ports than US ports. So really just trying to get a first hand opinion from someone that has sailed them on a closed loop US sailing? If you can compare them to other lines even better? If you're like me and have never sailed them, please share what your reservations are about sailing on them if you have any?

I am a travel agent on the side, and like Katrina said, havent heard anything crazy or upsetting from any of my clients that have sailed on MSC. I always tell them, you make your vacation!

@Chip Jr. Its alot of fun, but having a full time job (12-14 days a month) and a side hobby (being a TA) keeps me occupied, haha!
