I’m the Operating Principal for Keller Williams Realty in Madison, Wisconsin, and this is my 36th year selling residential real estate. I lead an office of 94 agents, and honestly, I worry some of them could get left behind if we don’t stay ahead of the rapid changes AI is bringing to our industry. As one of Keller Williams’ International Master Faculty members, a Coach with Nexus Coaching and a former BOLD Instructor, I’ve always made it a priority to be a student of this business and new ways of doing business so I can bring what I learn back to the people I train and coach. Up until recently, I’ve been teaching the agents in my company who are curious about AI, focusing mainly on ChatGPT. That all changed after I saw Shoney’s presentation in Dallas for GO Network a few months ago. Since then, we’ve started expanding our approach and building out a broader platform. I’ve even created a 12-week certification course that I’m currently testing with a group of my agents. I’m genuinely excited about what AI can do for us — how much more efficient and effective it can make our work. I don’t believe AI will replace real estate agents. But I do believe the agents who learn to use AI at a high level will replace the ones who don’t. I also believe that the collective is way smarter than an individual so I look forward to sharing what I discover here.
