What are you at this Sunday?
In my world, today is dedicated to mucking out my home 😊 Apart from a few breaks for coffee and Skool, the vacuum, washing machine and steam mop are working overtime, the tunes are blaring, and I am busting some serious moves 🤣 I wonder what it is about this time of year, the change in the light, the signs of growth, and the longer days that makes us want to clean our living spaces? My bet is that there’s some primal urge to purge 😊 So, what are you doing this Sunday?

Same sister... house cleaning, laundry.. a nap if I'm lucky. It's my reset day.
Full Moon
I love Full Moons 😊 It was too cloudy to capture the Blood Moon in all its glory earlier in the week, but this was the view from my back door last night 😊 The phone camera really doesn’t do justice to how spectacular it was 😊 Did you get any moon shots?

I can't get good ones. It's currently snowing here. Have gotten 5 inches since yesterday🫣.

@Eileen Bennett nah, it's only a little. I think the most we've gotten overnight here is about 18 inches. Though there are parts of Alaska that have gotten literally 4-8 feet over night this year. 😱
QUICK CHECK IN
Finish this sentence: “Today my inner horse feels like…” For example is your inner horse “…a pony escaping the field.” “…a wise old mare watching the world go by .” “…a racehorse waiting for the gates to open.” “…a always-hungry cob looking for breakfast’ No explanations required 😍

@Eileen Bennett Awe.. that's great. Today is a little better. Still hectic, but manageable.
Equine-assisted ‘AHA’s’
Today I had the pleasure of co-facilitating an equine-assisted session for a group of Social Entrepreneurs 😍 Not one of them had any idea what they’d signed up for, but they came because they trusted the person who organised the session. As it happens, the person who organised the session told us last week that she is terrified of animals 😳 We assured her that she would only need to get as close as she felt comfortable, and could stay outside the fence if she neededto 🐴 Before long she had forgotten that she was afraid and participated fully - inside the arena 🤣 So today we saw courage, connection and leadership in action. We also saw know, like and trust because that’s what brought the group to the session. They named the horses Energy, Focus, Support, and Strategy - essential elements of a social enterprise in their view - and worked together to bring them to goal they had built. There was a lot of laughter and ‘aha’ moments and everyone left with plenty of food for thought 😊 Equine-assisted work is a powerful and gentle way to get to the heart of an issue without conflict or confrontation. All that’s required is the willingness to turn up with an open mind and the courage to move beyond your comfort zone 😊

WEREWOLF OR HORSE?
There’s a full Blood Moon and a total lunar eclipse on March 3rd 😳 Humans’ “What does it MEAN???’ ‘Everything feels intense!’ ‘I need to change my life!’ ‘ Is this why I’m crying at a toaster advert?’ Meanwhile… in the field… The horses lift their heads because the light has changed. Shadows are different. Brightness shifts. Prey animals notice environmental changes and get a little more vigilant. And then? They stand closer together, breathe, settle and go back to grazing. There’s no panic. While we might be having a group chat about cosmic destiny and energy our horses respond by regulating themselves. So if the next few days feel a bit tense here’s your herd reminder:not to howl at the moon. Be where your feet are. Breathe. The sky can be dramatic but you don’t have to.😍 QUESTION Will you be howling at moon or grounding yourself in calm energy?

Grounding with clam energy. And it was beautiful. I'm exhausted today because I stayed up to take pictures.
