Navigating Grief While Moving Forward
This month has been incredibly difficult. Just hours after launching my ad campaign, I received the heartbreaking news that my cousin had passed away at just 48 years old. We laid her to rest on the first Tuesday of the month. Then, on the next Saturday night, my wife and I were faced with another loss—her stepfather passed away. Understandably, this has been an emotional time for both of us. In moments like these, it’s easy to feel stuck, but I keep coming back to something @Ed J C Smith says—focus on improving just 1% each day. Grief doesn’t mean we stop moving; it means we learn to carry our loved ones with us as we take each step forward. I’m reminding myself that progress, no matter how small, is still progress. Whether in business, personal growth, or healing, showing up— even just a little—makes a difference. For those who have experienced loss, how do you allow yourself to grieve while still moving forward?
