My daughter graduates tomorrow and heads off to college in July where has the time gone!? 😢. But I’m impressed with the decorating of her cap for graduation! I’m taking this moment that is no doubt a challenge for me being my last baby at home, but I’m taking this moment to appreciate and celebrate this huge accomplishment that she has done and patting myself on the back a little for feeling as though I’ve done something right in life.. all the arguments, the late night disputes, the countless hours back in the day of getting homework done. It has all paid off that she turned out to be a responsible, respectful and intelligent person! Definitely a proud mom!!

@Devon Haggberg it has definitely been a rollercoaster! Had you asked me 5 years ago where I thought she would be it definitely wouldn’t have been with a diploma, acceptance, and packing to move into college! I stayed firm and set many boundaries and she seen what needed to happen and buckled down and made it happen! I am so very proud! But not ready for emptiness! That I think is my struggle now! Happy tears with a bit of sad! And worry about sending her off on her own into a big city but I’m one call away! ❤️

@Will Abrego enjoy every second of it when they say time flies they aren’t lieing! I have 2 grandbabies now that are 3&1 and I find more often then not I’m soaking up more of those little moments knowing that in a blink of an eye they’re grown! This has been a challenging time for me no doubt keep feeling as though I’m falling and having to fight to get back up but the difference now is I’m not staying in such a dark place, I’m feeling the feels and moving on! ❤️

It’s a work in progress! Some days I think I “got this” other days it’s a challenge.. taking time for myself is an absolute must something that really doesn’t come natural for me. I’ve always worried about others first what they think what they do etc and it isn’t doing me one bit of justice… now more then ever I need to give myself grace and find just one thing I love about me each day.. soon to make that a habit. Lately I have felt lower then low and I know only I can change that I can make that choice but when the weight of the world feels heavy it seems the emotions and negativity take over.. then I have to step back and shake that negativity! This week is a bittersweet week.. I have crumbled more times then I want to admit but I am now able to acknowledge those things to do better! I will continue starting my day with just my time no distractions! I’ll continue to wake up and be glad that I did and be grateful for all that I have! I will rise above somehow even when things are seeming a bit dark right now!

Who is in for our fast challenge
Good morning everyone and happy Tuesday to you all. This Friday 5/29 we will be starting a 24hr fasting challenge. Fasting is a great way to improve blood sugar control, allow for cellular detoxification, reduced inflammation and enhanced brain function. I don't know about you guys, but this is going to be a hard one for me. I am a big snacker and sometimes eat quite a bit at night. I am starting at 6am MT and would love to know who else is in for the challenge.

Bummer I use to do 36 hour fast once a month when I was eating strict keto it became super easy! Unfortunately this week I’m going away on Thursday-Monday for women state bowling tournament so…. I know I wouldn’t be successful! I’ll be cheering everyone on!

@Cary Schram after the first day it was easy at that point your surviving on “fat” alone which made my inflammation so much better! Man I need to get back on the wagon again of changing my eating habits when I was keto I lost 110 lbs but I bet I gained nearly most of that back in a emotional eater :(

🔑 Taking a different path as I feel stuck in therapy. Trying to find myself, my happiness and overall just who am I?
