Finding the "Hum" in the Hook
I wanted to post a brief demonstration on the Granny Square, but we aren't starting from the very beginning today. Instead, I wanted to show you the rhythm of the granny square once it’s already in motion. When you get past those first couple of rounds, the pattern starts to "hum." I’m breaking down how to find that sweet spot where you stop thinking about the stitches and start feeling the flow. It’s less about "how-to" and more about "how to relax" into the pattern. In this video, we’re looking at: The "Auto-Pilot" Phase: Navigating the corners and spaces without overthinking. The Sensory Click: Listening for the rhythm of your hook. Loosening the Grip: A visual reminder to let your tension (and your shoulders) drop. A Quick Question for the Group: I’ve been thinking about making this a regular thing. Would you guys find it helpful to have Weekly Hump Day Grounding Chats right here at 1:30 PM EST? It would be a space to check our tension, breathe through the mid-week "wobbles," and just stitch together for a bit. Drop a "YES" in the comments if you’d join me, or let me know what you think of the demo! 👇
