📚 Benable for Authors
𝗜𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗕𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀? Okay… I have been hearing about 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 for over a week now, so clearly there is some BUZZ happening around this platform. 👀 So naturally, I had to check it out. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲? Think of it as a mix between Pinterest, affiliate marketing, and curated recommendation lists. You create lists of things you personally recommend books, products, travel, business tools, resources, and more and other people can browse those recommendations. But here's where I think it gets interesting for 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀. 📚💰 I just opened my account and I'm starting to map out my strategy. 𝗠𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲: 📖 Lists recommending books I personally love 💼 Lists around business, publishing, personal growth, etc. ✍️ A dedicated list featuring 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 You can connect recommendations directly to Amazon, which means someone could discover one of your books through your Benable list and click over to Amazon to purchase it....And there is another potential income layer. Benable automatically monetizes eligible recommendations through its affiliate partnerships, including Amazon, and if you already have your own affiliate relationships, Benable says you can use those as well. So theoretically, your book recommendations can create multiple opportunities: 👉 More exposure for your books 👉 Another source of traffic going to your Amazon listings 👉 Potential affiliate commissions on qualifying purchases 👉 Your normal book royalties when someone purchases your book 👉 Another searchable piece of content working for you online 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗺𝘆 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. I'm always looking at ways we can build MORE places for readers to discover our books instead of relying only on Amazon search or constantly posting on social media. And Benable says it has a built-in audience and can distribute recommendations through feeds and search engines, which makes me especially curious about what kind of visibility these lists can generate over time. 🔎

🎉 COMMUNITY MILESTONE CRUSHED
All right, team… 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗚𝗨𝗬𝗦 𝗧𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗗𝗜𝗗 𝗜𝗧. Today we hit 𝟱,𝟭𝟯𝟵 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 inside this community. 🤯🔥 That is the 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘆, and seeing that number is absolutely wild. And this matters because all of that activity creates 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗺. Every comment, like, GIF, conversation, celebration, and helpful answer signals that this is a community people actually want to be part of — and it's helping us climb ahead of other groups in Skool Discovery. 🚀 NEXT MINI-MILESTONE: TOP 25 IN TECH I know rankings aren't everything, but I would LOVE to see us break into the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟮𝟱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀. And the coolest part? 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘂𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲. Just keep showing up. Drop a comment. Celebrate someone's win. Answer a question. Throw a GIF on a post. 😂 Share what you're working on. The more of us who participate, the more momentum we create — and the more opportunities 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝗻. 🎁 Speaking of winning… I'm running a 𝗚𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸, and you'll need to watch my limited-time training to find out how to enter. Inside the training, I'm covering 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 + 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻, AND I'm showing you a 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 I've built to help make the process easier. I'm especially excited about what these tools can help you do on the 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 — because publishing the book is only half the battle. Getting people to actually discover it is where things get interesting. ⏰ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝘀𝗼 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁. 👉 𝗚𝗢 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 𝗜𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗪 And seriously… 𝟱,𝟭𝟯𝟵 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬. You showed up BIG today. ❤️ 𝗡𝗼𝘄… 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗴𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟮𝟱 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁?! 🔥

AI Video Brings Your Story Off the Page
🎬 Member Shout-Out: @Nick Nebelsky Today I want to give a big shout-out to Nick! If you don’t know Nick yet, he’s one of the moderators here in the community and also runs his own community, AI Storytellers. Last month, Nick put a TON of work into creating an AI short film using Grok to enter into a contest. And if you’ve ever tried using AI to create a reel, video, or even a few consistent scenes, you know how challenging that process can be. 😅 There’s a lot of trial and error that goes on behind the scenes, so I wanted to recognize the time, creativity, and effort he put into bringing this project together. If you want to learn more about how to bring your story to life check out his group! 🎥 Take a few minutes to watch his video below and drop a comment congratulating Nick on all the hard work! 👏 Great job, Nick!

@Honesti Morris thank you! It has been so exciting!
Small Improvements ❤️
As you've been hearing, I'm pivoting the community to a PAID entry on 9/1, so I am making some minor improvements around the community. I'm not the best at organization, so I've taken some inspiration from @Adelina Rosa who has a really great community called Creator Connections 🦉and she has organization on lockdown in there. So I created some new posting categories for us here. ❤️ Connect — Introductions, questions, networking, conversations 🧡 Publish — Writing, covers, formatting, KDP setup, keywords, categories 💚 Marketing — Visibility, Amazon SEO, ads, social media, email, launches 💛 Wins — Book launches, first sales, rankings, milestones, progress 💙 Promote — Share your books, offers, freebies, and promotions 💜 Updates — Community announcements, workshops, challenges, new resources More improvements will be coming soon. (p.s. - new training video will be dropping on 9/1 for the launch 🚀)
