Exciting News!
Today is the launch of the new 12 Week Savings Challenge for members in this community. It's called Passport to Peace. Go to the CLASSROOM tab and download either the digital workbook as a PDF file for use or the very cool flipbook style to reach and view everything online. Each week, we will have a poll and a special update with a tip or strategy for how I am using the challenge to save $5k by next May 2027 for my 3-month sabbatical to Colombia and Ecuador. But you can create your own adventure and save toward your travel dreams over the next few months. I hope you will join in the fun! Recognition prize for everyone who completes the challenge. Rembemr, you deserve to travel and thrive. 🤩love💌Crystal

Watching the live now. I definitely want to join the challenge. Even though I’m currently on sabbatical I am already thinking about what’s next for earning money to sustain my life. It’s been great to have lowered my overhead, but I will need to earn some income until I reach the age to access my retirement accounts and federal pension.
"You Will Feel Guilty — And Here's What To Do About It"
Leaving your home country to live abroad doesn't mean leaving your people. Dr. Davia gets honest about the guilt of expat life — and the intentional rituals that keep her connected from Bangkok to her front porch back home. This is part of the Wiser Abroad series on my YouTube Channel, where I'm sitting down with women who chose themselves, crossed an ocean, and built a life on their own terms. In this community, we are sharing our experiences and learning how we can slow travel abroad or move completely. I was honored to stay in Bangkok with Dr Davia for 6 weeks earlier this year. She has an amazing story. You can also learn about her from the full episode at @OnSabatticalwithDrCrystal or her channel with is called NOT.... ALL the Things (@DrBrownFranklyn)

I’m staying connected with family. Calls and even a monthly zoom with college friends. I slowly let go of the guilt in the first few weeks of my sabbatical.
