Happy MLK Holiday for those in the United States. I am grateful to present this new community created to support women interested in either solo or slow traveling for rest, reflection, and career reinvention. Writing this from my 8th country (in about 18 months), I saw a need for a welcoming space for women over 50 nearing retirement, but who aren't sure they want to walk away from a career where they've invested SO much time and energy. As I began to share this idea, I learned that even younger women desired to retire early or redesign the life they had built so methodically in their younger years. I look forward to meeting all of you and to also planning a launch party when we hit our first 10-20 members. Thanks in advance for what you will bring to make this community a vibrant and wonderful experience those yet to come.

Let’s Go. Starting day on Skool is Aug 20th. One of my favorite people was born on this day. Gertrude Braswell, my Great Aunt, was a trail blazer in life and education; she taught kindergarten and first grade for 45 years in Elmore County, AL. She would LOVE this idea of creating online community teaching people how to rest, restore and create a life of love embracing the wanderlust inside each of us. Two of her most memorable legacies are: we can all make a difference somewhere and drinking pot liquor (from collard greens) is the secret to longevity. She lived to 98 years of life.
