Getting some input
Good morning everyone! I’m starting to look at creating my first CEU presentation but I wanted to see what the community felt regarding this topic. When we are working with a variety of clients, and we have a brand new staff start with that client, a lot of the times I’ve seen or have heard the BCBA say, “Just pair with the client.” This can be very vague for the staff and not give them the specifics of how to pair with a client. What I would like to do is create a presentation on how we can teach staff to pair with clients, when to pair depending on the environment, and different pairing strategies we can teach.

This is such a great topic! I love it. It might be helpful to have handouts that BCBAs can give RBTs with different pairing ideas, activities. I personally liked having different resources available for my RBTs on the clients' binder so even if someone covered my client they immediately had a resource they could use.
