I'm 38. Here's my accomplishments:
Forgive me for self-aggrandising for a moment... - Sold over $10M in contract revenue during my IT sales career. - Founded the HIB Podcast (formerly Corporate Warrior): 542 episodes, 1.3M+ downloads, and a 4.85 rating from 126 reviews. - Co-founded Optima Strength and sold 76 virtual and in-person training memberships at $376/mo average. - Recruited and developed a world-class trainer who still delivers exceptional retention and referrals to this day. - Helped 41 strength training businesses add $12,000–$58,480/month in revenue (that I can verify). And on top of all that… I have a wonderful wife and two gorgeous children who bring me more joy than anything else in the world. Next up: Helping 5 personal strength training business owners add $12,000 to $58,480/mo to their business. Click here to apply.

All reasons to be proud. Good job.
💪 Client of the Week: Strength Studio (Brainerd, MN)
Tom and Emily Fairbanks run Strength Studio — a husband-and-wife team building a thriving HIT business in rural Minnesota. They just hit their 2025 goal early: - 125+ intro sessions booked this year - 86% conversion rate - 100% referral-based growth — no ads, no funnels - Team of 6 trainers and expanding - Currently preparing to buy a building and move out of their leased space They use ARX, MedX, and Nautilus — but they’re not dogmatic. Everything is programmed based on client needs, with high-touch instruction and thoughtful progressions. Their growth strategy? Keep it simple: - Blow people away with the first session - Educate clients well - Ask for referrals (especially spouses) - Get 1x/week clients training 2x/week - Let great workouts and great systems do the talking

Congratulations
Hermes Daniël Fitness - Business Development
Since I started in January, I’ve generated around 100 leads, mostly from new John Reed members and conversations on the gym floor. This September, I had 14 leads, converting 1 into a weekly training package worth €600, with 3 more possible conversions pending follow-up. I also have 5 upcoming introductions, with 2 prospects showing conditional interest. Right now, I have 9 active subscriptions, but client churn is high—I’ve lost 4 in the past three months while gaining only 1 new subscription. My monthly revenue is about €2,000, with net income roughly half that. My network includes 142 leads, 153 Instagram followers, and 124 LinkedIn connections. My biggest challenges are low conversion and retention rates, with only about a 7% confirmed conversion from recent studio intros, and several clients have paused or stopped training. My Instagram reaches 15,000 views per month, but I’m mostly just posting as social proof right now. I see this as an opportunity area. I spend about 25 to 30 hours a week on the gym floor, training clients and prospecting. Each week I schedule 3 to 5 trial sessions, which I consider warm leads. John Reed supplies 3 to 5 cold leads monthly from clients interested in studio introductions. I’ve reached out to all my clients asking for feedback and referrals. While the ratings have been excellent (10/10), I’ve only received 3 referrals in 9 months. I actively ask for written testimonials and have started recording video reviews, with 2 so far. My warm lead pipeline is running low; I spend office hours following up with them, and when I have time, I reach out to cold leads, usually by messaging. I could definitely do more with social media. Last week I reached out to businesses around John Reed, offering to train their personnel, but so far have only received “no” responses. This week, I gathered all email addresses from my system and sent out my first “client in focus” email to 125 recipients. Given recent trends, I’m starting to feel a bit nervous and overwhelmed—I need more clients to keep the momentum going.

🚀 We’re Back — And Here to Stay
Hey everyone, Some of you remember a little while back I made the tough call to close this free community so I could focus all my energy on HIB (paid). At the time, I thought that was the best way to serve. But here’s what I realized: this free community is one of the BEST ways for us to connect, support each other, and bring new people into the HIB ecosystem. It wasn’t the right move to close it — and I’ve fixed that. This group is officially back, and this time it’s here to stay. Here’s what you can expect moving forward: ✅ Weekly discussions and community spotlights ✅ Mini trainings, insights, and resources you can implement right away ✅ Stories and wins from inside HIB (pro). To show what’s possible when you go deeper ✅ A place to connect with others on the same path To be clear: - This free group is about connection and momentum. - HIB (paid) is where the deep coaching, frameworks, and expert calls happen. Both play a role, and together they make the whole ecosystem stronger. So if you were active here before — thank you for bringing the energy. If you’re new — welcome, you’re in the right place. And if you ever wondered whether this community will “disappear again”… it won’t. We’re building for the long term. Let’s kick things off — drop a comment below and reintroduce yourself. Who are you, what do you do, and what’s your #1 focus right now? Excited to get this moving again. Let’s go. Thank you, Lawrence
