Me… the series. Blessed me.
Just another feel good vibe of reflection of ourselves and creative mind setting. Now breathe… Me… the series. NS042026KW Blessed me. Given so many chances Not taken fore granted. Accepted me starts by planting. A garden of seeds. In fertile conditions and The soil free of weeds. The me who farms the land. My investment to fulfill my needs. Having the mindset for my plans. Connecting with my soulful me. Aligned with the master hands. To guide me through life and, The times in the sands. Where my future belongs to me. And I’m blessed with the love, A higher power and direction. Of myself and inner inspection. That leadership in belief, Gives me food for action. So I can find my passion. Achievement in the strategy. The player who has the lead. The focused me who clearly sees, The value and effectiveness Of being the one connected. To the one who’s me, being blessed. K. Not random at all, this is a real piece of writing. The garden metaphor running through the middle carries the whole thing and the ending lands quietly which is harder to pull off than most people think. Thanks for sharing it.
Middle of the Week Check In!
I haven’t done a weekly check in for a bit. So, let’s hear how you all are doing. Where are you in your book creation? Has it been smooth, tough, or in between? Share the wins, the lessons learned and what you feel up for sharing! This is a great time for us to help one another because if you stay stagnant, there’s no growth. Meaning, no book will create itself without the help of a human. So what steps do you need to take in order to finish it?

@Karen Dennis "Creativity as peace of mind" is something I feel deeply. There's a version of being in the work where everything else gets quiet and that's the whole reason I keep coming back to writing. The connection you mention is real too, some of the most genuine relationships I've built have been with people I've never met in person. Technology as the only barrier is a really beautiful way to put it.
⚡ Let’s Simplify This
Sometimes we make writing a book feel more complicated than it needs to be. We tell ourselves we need more time. More discipline. A better routine. But what if it’s not that? What if it’s this: You’re trying to move forward without knowing exactly where you’re going. So you write a scene… then question it. You outline… then change it. You get excited… then lose momentum halfway through. And suddenly weeks pass, and the book feels like it hasn’t really moved. Not because you didn’t try. But because you didn’t have something steady to follow. Let me give you an example. Imagine sitting down to write and instead of wondering, “Is this the right next step?” You already know. You’ve mapped the direction. You understand what your story is building toward. And when you get stuck, you’re not alone trying to figure it out… You have guidance. You have feedback. You have people walking the same path, hitting the same walls, and moving through them. Now compare that to doing it alone. Guessing. Restarting. Second-guessing every decision. That’s the difference. So let’s simplify it: If you had: A) A clear structure B) Weekly guidance C) People walking the same path Would your book be further along right now? Be honest with yourself 👇 If the answer is yes… Then it’s not about trying harder. It’s about choosing a different way to move forward. And that’s something we can talk about.

The "write a scene then question it" loop is so real. I've lost months to that cycle. My problem was never motivation or discipline, it was that I was moving without a clear sense of where the story was going. Every session felt like starting over. When I finally had structure and people around me who were working through the same thing everything changed. Honest answer to your question is yes, my book would be a lot further along.
Weekend of Rest
This weekend was something I needed! Some time to just relax, have time to bond with friends and be able to bring my kiddo to hang out with friends! It was nice not having a list of things to do and keeping myself in a mindset of checking things off. I realized that I had been on overdrive for far too long! How has your week and weekend been? What have you noticed that you needed? Did you get the chance to just follow what you felt that you needed? Share it!

@Shawn Helgerson Rough weeks can sometimes have a way of bleeding into the weekend too, that's the worst. I’m really glad to hear you got that time in Pittsburgh though to see your daughter. Hope you get another moment to breathe soon. Hang in there.
Finish This Sentence 👇
Let’s make this simple today. Finish this sentence: “My book is for the person who…” Example: “My book is for the person who has carried a story for years but keeps waiting until they feel ready.” Don’t polish it. Don’t make it perfect. Just let the real answer come through. Share it in the comments and reflect on it.

My book is for the person who has been calling themselves "someone who writes" for years but hasn't quite let themselves just say writer.
