Do you take time for yourself?
Can I be completely honest with you! I was scheduled to attend a local women's event today. I was given a free table to network and prospect new clients. This was a blessing, honestly. I love this organization; it was instrumental in setting up my business. WIN WIN, right But I have been burning the candle at both ends (if you know me, I do this all the time) This has left my immune system very vulnerable. I have no energy with body aches and a sore throat (some have joked it's the super moon LOL). So late last night, I declined my invite, despite a huge opportunity for growth, because my health matters too This is my message for you - take time for yourself. It is imperative to your success and longevity! Today I am resting, taking time for me! Completing some things that have been weighing heavily and increasing my stress! You know laundry, haircut, shaving and cutting my toenails ( YES I never take time for myself, seriously) I hope this makes you chuckle, but please take time for yourself. Shower, shave, lavish your body in exotic oils, and pray unceasingly throughout the day. Rest and listen to what God has instore for you Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV) instructs believers not to be anxious about anything, but instead to bring all concerns to God through prayer, petition, and thanksgiving. Doing so promises that God’s peace, which exceeds human understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
