How My Student Got A $100k Remote Offer In 3 Weeks - Pedro Case Study
@Pedro Sousa is self-taught. Two months unemployed. Crippling imposter syndrome. He could build entire apps from scratch, but didn't feel "good enough" for US companies. Three weeks later? He passed ALL 3 interview processes and landed a $94K remote US job + 2 weeks PTO. Here's what changed everything ๐Ÿ‘‡ Pedro was stuck in the worst kind of loop. He had the skills but was applying without strategy. He questioned if he was "too old" to break into tech. Every rejection reinforced the doubt. The turning point wasn't learning more frameworks or grinding LeetCode. It was personalized mentorship that focused on simple fundamentals. With guidance from me and my technical mentor Ivan, the first 10 minutes of Pedro's interviews completely transformed. Interviewers stopped testing him and started getting to know him. His confidence shifted from hoping he'd make it to knowing exactly what to do. Pedro said something that hit me: "Knowing the path is not walking the path. Even if you gave me a course instead of the calls... it doesn't work the same. Having a mentor makes such a big difference." That's exactly what I experienced myself in the beginning of my career. The fastest path to get where you want is talking to a person that's been through it all and can just give you direction. 3 interview processes. 3 weeks. Passed every single one. โœ… Want to see exactly what Pedro did differently? I sat down with him to break down his entire journey - the mindset shifts, the preparation strategies, and the specific changes that made interviewers lean in instead of test him. Full case study video is on YouTube. (Tagged in the post)

Amazing work, Pedro! Pedro's story is my story. I'm going to accomplish the same thing. One way or another.
Just Want to Help a Team
Hi everyone... my name is Damone and I'm super thankful this community is here. Its exciting to know that my job hunting will have structure and training behind it! I live in Evergreen, Colorado and I have started to shift focus on creating full AI systems that automate business processes, but my goal in this community is to get working as a web developer so I can actually contribute to a team again! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sure... I first heard about machine learning when it was largely data research and manipulation that was based on hopeful "one-day" dreams. The potential was rooted in a bit of fantasy, lol. Then came OpenAI and I immediately began building chat bots, then agents, then AI-powered apps and systems, etc... now, I would love to work in the space.
FREE 90 Day Roadmap That Helped 50+ Developers Achieve an Average 25% Salary Increase (some even doubled their income)
I spent 7 years grinding as a developer. Made every mistake in the book. But the last year? I've helped 50+ developers skip the pain and go straight to $150K+ roles. Here are the 7 lies that kept me (and probably you) underpaid: LIE #1: "I need more experience" โŒ I had 5 years experience making $80K โœ… My client had 3.5 years experience, now makes $140K The difference? She knew how to TALK about her experience. You don't need more time. You need better storytelling. LIE #2: "The market is saturated" โŒ Yes, for generic "full-stack developers" โœ… No, for "Specialists who scale healthcare solutions" Riches are in the niches. Every "saturated" market has desperate gaps. Find yours. LIE #3: "I need to know everything" Stop trying to master: โ†’ React, Vue, Angular, Svelte โ†’ Node, Python, Go, Rust โ†’ AWS, Azure, GCP โ†’ Docker, K8s, Terraform Start mastering: โ†’ ONE language deeply โ†’ ONE stack completely โ†’ ONE problem specifically Specialists earn 2-3x generalists. LIE #4: "My GitHub speaks for itself" No. It doesn't. Recruiters spend 6 seconds on your profile. They're not reading your code. They want to see: โ€ข Clear results โ€ข Specific experience with a tech stack โ€ข Business impact โ€ข Social proof โ€ข Professional presentation Code is your craft. Marketing is your income. LIE #5: "I'm not senior enough to charge premium rates" I've seen junior developers charging $100/hour. I've seen 10-year veterans stuck at $60/hour. Your rate isn't about years. It's about PERCEIVED value. Position yourself as the expert who solves expensive problems. Price yourself accordingly. LIE #6: "I need more certifications" That AWS certification won't change your life. You know what will? โ†’ A LinkedIn presence that attracts opportunities โ†’ Testimonials from companies with a strong brand โ†’ A personal brand that screams "expert" โ†’ A portfolio that demonstrates clear ROI Certifications are resume padding. Results are career rocket fuel. LIE #7: "Negotiating is awkward, I'll just take what they offer"

Introduction
Hey everyone! Happy to have found this community and people that struggle with similar issues! I'm full-stack developer with 6+ years of experience. I live in Slovenia. I worked a lot in blockchain development recently. I've been having trouble landing a job at all that can pay my bills in last half a year. I'm hoping this year I'll finally put my mind at ease and start working.
