2026 Goals Check In
Welcome to April, friends! This is the perfect time to reflect on your first quarter of 2026! - What small wins have you accomplished so far this year? - What makes these small wins important to you? - What big goal are your small wins related to? I'll start and give you examples below: - One of my big goals for 2026 is to read 52 books this year. I know, sounds like a big goal. BUT, I have broken down this goal to daily micro-goals. To accomplish this goal, here's what I Do: ~ I dedicate the very first two hours of my day to reading. First, the Bible (as that's another goal). Then, a book related to my fields of study. If an hour sounds like a lot, you can always break it down to 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. Also, to FIT this goal in, I chose to cut some things out. I cut out watching tv, movies, television series, etc. to ensure I make time for my goal. I ensure that before I do any of these ... my daily reading is DONE. Surprisingly, I haven't actually cared to watch tv... so I haven't. And in this time, I have officially FINISHED READING 21 books so far. It's become a bit of a healthy addiction. The truth is, we can do anything we set our minds to do ... and DO! I was tired of my own excuses that I didn't have enough time. I made the time. And I'm glad I did. If you have a BIG GOAL that feels BIG ... don't worry about the BIG part. Break it down into daily actions that you can work toward each day. In this, you are working toward a goal AND creating new, healthy habits. What BIG GOAL do you have for yourself for 2026? What small, daily actions can you take to make this goal happen? Think small to accomplish big! You CAN do anything you REALLY WANT TO DO!

Here’s your response cleaned up, conversational, warm, and flowing naturally: Ooo I love this question šŸ¤ Some small wins for me this year… I feel sooo much more grounded in my mindset… and honestly more humble within myself My business is doing really well… but more importantly, it’s growing in alignment with my values and integrity ✨ My dance is also going really well… I even held my first workshop in New Zealand and it was such a beautiful experience And I just got back from a trip to New Zealand as well, which felt really special 🌿 Overall I just feel like I’m slowlyyy chipping away at the things that matter to me Why these feel important… Because it feels like I’m building momentum in the right direction Not rushed… not forced… just steady and really good from within That feeling of being aligned and feeling amazing in myself means a lot more than just ticking boxes And honestly… I feel like all big goals are just a collection of small wins anyway You just keep stacking them… and suddenly you’re somewhere you once wanted to be Curious to hear yours too šŸ‘€

Wowzaaaa what a mission and impressed ha
I used to think resilience meant pushing through no matter what.
But over time I’ve realised… a lot of what we call ā€œresilienceā€ is actually just learning how to stay connected to yourself while things are hard. Because you can push through anything for a while…but if you’re constantly overriding yourself, it eventually catches up. Real resilience, for me, has started to look more like:staying steady, aware, and honest with yourself even in pressure not just forcing your way through it Curious… When things get tough for you, do you tend to push harder… or stay connected to yourself?

I used to think resilience meant pushing through no matter what.
Something unexpected came up for me recently.
My son just got into an incredible boarding school. He loved it, the environment is amazing, everything about it felt right. But when I was there, I noticed something in me tighten. I didn’t have a great experience in school growing up. I never really felt like I belonged. I wasn’t the academic type, and I carried a quiet sense of being ā€œless thanā€ for a long time. Standing there, watching all these kids, I could feel those old emotions come back, almost like my body remembered before my mind did. The interesting part was this: Nothing in the present moment was actually wrong. This was completely coming from my past. I had two options ā¤ļø Either project that fear onto his experience…Or take responsibility for what was coming up in me. I chose the second.šŸ’— I didn’t ignore it or try to ā€œthink positive.ā€I actually sat with it for a few days, processed it, and let it move through me. And once it settled, there was clarity. My past doesn’t get to define his future. That felt like a real win. For me, resilience in this moment wasn’t about pushing through. It was about not letting an unprocessed past quietly shape a decision in the present. Curious 🄰 where in your life could your past be influencing how you’re seeing something today?
