Working out
Just curious if you also hit the gym, go running or something else? Pretty much daily here and no issues with my hands, only a bit stiff a couple of hours after lifting heavy.

I like to keep active, though I have been working through a foot injury, so I haven't been as active as I would like these past few months. Having a desk job, I find if I don't do some sort of strength training on a regular basis, pain slowly starts to creep in.

@Shahar Bar I LOVE waking, and tolerate running. They say a brisk walk is fantastic for fitness, it just takes more time than a run to get similar benefits.

Hi, I am an intermediate guitarist. Looking forward to what this can lead to. 👍

What
How many hours prectice for fast?

I am not the expert here, but my question would be “fast what?”. I imagine if you focused on a single lick it wouldn’t take as much time as a long run. If you said “fast everything” I would say it would take you forever :-)
Working on Targeting Chord Tones
Over the past few months, I've been diving deep into the concept of chord tones to make my guitar playing more melodic. We all know the feeling — you're improvising a solo and naturally fall back on the good old minor pentatonic scale. You find the tonal center and then just layer your favorite licks over it. And honestly, that works fine — it sounds good and it’s fun. But something really clicked for me when I started focusing on hitting chord tones right on the strong beats of the bar — especially tones from the actual chord being played at that moment. Suddenly, things just fit better — more melodic, more intentional, and more connected to the harmony. Now I’m curious: Have you been working with chord tones too? How do you approach practicing them? Would love to hear your tips and experiences!

@Jon Bjork why do you suggest the pentatonic scales rather than the maj/min scales?
