Had a bit of an awkward situation today and I'm curious what others think. Found a bloke on Facebook Marketplace selling some really nice clothes at a great price. We agreed on a deal, I paid, collected them, and went home happy thinking I'd picked up a bargain. Later that evening, I listed some of the items on Vinted for more than I'd paid because I knew they were worth a bit more. In hindsight, maybe doing it the same day wasn't my smartest move! Not long after, I started getting some pretty angry messages from the original seller through my Vinted account. He felt I'd been dishonest and was annoyed that I was making a profit from items I'd bought from him. My view is that once a sale is agreed and completed, the items belong to the buyer. But I can also understand why seeing them relisted a few hours later for more money might leave a bad taste. Has anyone else had a similar experience? 😂 Who's in the right here?
