Should You Buy Items Outside Your Niche If They Sell Fast? 🤔
I’m a big believer in knowing your niche, but what happens when you find something outside it that you know will sell quickly? Do you stick to your niche or buy it anyway because the sell-through is strong? What would you do? 👇

100% if i see something i know will make money ill grab it or if its really cheap for research. I picked up some vinyl recently 50p each and sold a few for £30-40 i now have a slight clue about what kind of vinyl might be worth looking at & what i can ignore, with a cheap record mailer dead easy to pack too. Everyday is a school day!
Best improvement you have brought into your business?
I was pondering this yesterday and I wondered what everyone else would say as it's relevant, no matter where you are in the journey. I'll go first, the best thing I have done for my business is.....take on extra earning potential.. so about a month ago I started doing Uber eats, I'm a 'full time' seller but at the earlier stages so cash flow is always a pinch point. Time is something I had, so I started doing evenings which easily fits around work, school kids etc. But what it's given me is a faster rate of growth as I have available cash flow, and a decreased pressure on those sales coming in. Yes it's 2 'jobs' but it's not hard work really. I realize this is started to sound like an advert, it's not, ebay full time is absolutely the daily. But an extra 1/2/3 hundred a week which can be put into stock helps that scaling curve. I feel like this is a safe place to be honest and I'm not embarrassed by doing it, running a business is tough and it's definitely not a smooth line to success. I would be interested to hear what other people have done, it could be a; listing system, inventory system, time management, sourcing strategy whatever. Could be anything and hopefully it will help spread ideas which is why we are here right.

Is the art of negotiation/haggling dead on FB Marketplace?
I'm selling an old Hitachi Radio Cassette Player (everywhere but this is about FBM). Its listed as £25 taking offers. Guy msg's me saying "I'll only use it once, will you take £15". Brilliant I thought, we're starting negotiations. I'm willing to take £18 for it, so msg back saying "I'll come down to £20 cash on collection"..crickets, nothing. Now seems to of blocked me so cant msg him again 🤦 this is the second time this has happened (one before was for something up at £100, they offered £60, I contered with £80, and blocked) 😂
