I got to play this round. I did not have a lot of time today, but I squeezed it in. I had maybe about a four-hour window at the end of the day. I'm not sure I made the deadline but at least I did the thing. The drums in my mix are the same tracks from the folder. I didn't replace the kit! There were no overheads in the folder, and no drum room mics, so I created them artificially with some reverb. I'm happy to share techniques if you want to know!

This is really good. Love how the guitars sound here, you got that last loud section working very well. Great work, enjoyed it!

@Ricardo B Well I do have a sub :) But you can see it in an analyzer as well. Yes, it's really great learning having to restrict yourself on time. After all, being able to make quick decisions and trusting your instincts and ears is crucial. Otherwise there's no end to the reviews in my experience 😅

Ey Lou! My thoughts: - balance overall feels good - I'm thinking the vocal is too loud for this genre? - It feels to me there's some kind of pumping or fluctuations going on during the track? - Too much of the cymbals in the last part, and (perhaps because of that?) it feels like it leans to the right too much. Good job though.

Very nice! I think you can well push the final limiter a few more db, and perhaps a tad much 200ish? Great work.
