New Jersey REPRESENT!!! 🤝 Did attendance meet expectations? - I would say so! We built the community from 0 to 41 in just the first 3 weeks before our first ever events. - We had 4 total members show up & our moms even stopped by to support! Woohoo go, Maureen & Melinda (lol)! 💰 How does the balance sheet look? - Our day 1 event was on Saturday (which was FREE) & then we had our day 2 event on Sunday (which was $99). The $99 was strictly to cover the cost of entrance for each person to utilize the facilities (so we did not profit from it). 🏠 Was the venue a hit or a miss? - I think both venues were hits for different reasons! - Day 1 Venue: Bell Works - this place in itself is stunning & there really are so many coworking spaces, places/good lighting to film, food/drink, & great networking opportunities. For example, when we were there, 2 of us were able to connect with a guy who works closely with Mark Cuban bc he got a deal with him on Shark Tank. We exchanged emails & he's interested in learning more about Skool. - Day 2 Venue: Sweet Honey Farm - this is a wellness retreat meets coworking space. We hung out with the farm animals, got to chat about personal & business stuff in the sauna/cold plunge, and then we went into a meeting room & got to work individually work on members' Skool communities with them. - We'll be having our next IRL meetup this Saturday (12/13) at a coffee shop, so we'll see how that differs from the last two! 😸 What was the overall sentiment from attendees? - I was surprised to feel the way I felt after our first weekend of IRLs. I didn't think we could possibly help people the way that Goose helped us at our first IRL back in September. On our most recent C.U.M. call last week, I called it, "Spreading the Goosepel" ... because that's quite literally what it feels like! We were able to sit down 1:1 with people and address the blocks they were feeling within their communities. They were all similar blocks to what we had before meeting Goose. We taught Goose's community building lessons on Theme, Inside Jokes, & Frequent Interaction. - By the end of both days, it was so cool to see change & how people lit up when they realized they can make what they're passionate about ACTUALLY FUN and something they WANT to do. - Since, the IRLS we've received posts & DMs from the members thanking us & showing us things they've implemented & how it's working. Super cool stuff!
