Featured Book: Overcoming Life Obstacles
If you had the pleasure of attending my webinar last month then you got to meet my wonderful friend @Shayna Melissa Stockman who I was very grateful to have as my moderator. Shayna recently opened her own community here on Skool. If you or someone you know is living with autoimmune issues, please join her group here. Shayna is a great example of using her book to gain speaking opportunities and sell author copies. She attends events regularly, not just to promote her book but also to use them as a doorway to bring people into her program. ➡️ CHECK OUT HER BOOK ON AMAZON

Congratulations!!!
The 90s Kid in Me Had to Publish This Book
The very first book I ever published was 90's Nostalgia! ☮️💿🖥️🎵 Honestly, this wasn’t a book I created to chase sales or try to build a business around. It was purely a passion project. I wanted to create something fun, keep it short, enjoy the process, and most importantly… learn how self-publishing actually worked from start to finish. Growing up in the 90s was such a fun experience, and reflecting back on that time period always brings me joy. The music, TV shows, toys, snacks, fashion…there was just something special about that era. At one point, I even considered creating a Skool community centered around 90s nostalgia, but realistically, I already spend so much time building and supporting this community that I knew I wouldn’t have the time to properly maintain another one. That’s why I was excited when I came across a community called 90s Nostalgia. I’ve genuinely been having a lot of fun engaging in there lately. Max runs the group, and his goal is to hit 100 members this week. So if you’re looking for a fun community with no strings attached and you also loved growing up in the 90s, definitely go check out his group! Now I’m curious… what’s one thing from the 90s that instantly brings back memories for you? 👀

I've been late with posting one of these updates, but late is better than never. The May calendar is finally updated to reflect all of this month's premium member calls. I also just updated the classroom to include last week's live call on paperback cover creation. ➡️ Also, I just wanted to announce that there are going to be some upcoming changes later this month to the classroom. I'm planning to consolidate a lot of the content so that the classroom doesn't feel so cluttered and has a clearer path of where to go. I will be keeping you posted When those changes go live. What Books Did You Read in Childhood?
📚 Throwback Question: What Did You Read as a Kid? I was thinking back to my childhood reading habits, and it hit me how different they were compared to what I read now. Back then, I was all about fun, fictional books—anything that kept me entertained and pulled me into a story. One of my favorites was the Goosebumps series. I used to fly through those books as a pre-teen. And then when the Goosebumps show came out, it was such a cool experience seeing those stories come to life. I remember noticing how some parts were different from what I had imagined while reading—which made it even more fun. It really made me realize how powerful storytelling is… especially when it sticks with you years later. Now I’m curious—what about YOU? - What books or series did you love growing up? - Were you into fiction, or something totally different? - Did any of those stories stick with you into adulthood? Drop your favorites below 👇 Let’s take a little trip down memory lane.

Little Women and 1001 Arabian Nights were my absolute favorite. 🥰

@Cheri Reynolds my first language is Spanish, so the Cat in the Hat books never made sense to me.🤪
A Book 📖 Builds Your Authority!
You don't need an audience to become an authority. You need a book. A published book on Amazon does something no social media post can do, it signals credibility on its own. People find your book through search, not through your follower count. That means someone with zero social media presence can still be "the person who wrote the book on YOUR NICHE" — literally. And once that authority exists, it opens doors. Speaking gigs, consulting clients, and course buyers want to work with the expert. A book makes you that expert before you've said a single word. Social media builds attention. Books build authority. Both matter, but one of them works while you sleep. People find your book on Amazon, read it, get value from it and then want to work with you more. 👉 What are you going to write your book about? Drop it in the comments!

@Krista Brea I concur. I always notice that, and then I look for the book information. 🙂
