I need some advise
I have a potential claimant. The property has her father (deceased), and her brother on it. She said the brother whose name is on, told her years ago that he has lawyers on it and she is not permitted to do anything. I mentioned to her that has a heir to her father she is entitled to apart of the money. She agreed to pursue it, I sent over the contract and claim form and she text to say she is worried about the lawyers

Potential claimant
Greetings everyone, I have a potential claim. The owner is decease, the son ( potential claimant) is incarcerated. I have spoke with his mother and she is willing to do the claim. My question is, is a POA good for this situation?

Keep going don't give up
I just want to stop by to say to someone, if you have submitted a claim and the state is making it difficult don't stop, don't walk away. Keep going because they do it without legitimate reasons, just so they don't have to pay out. I submitted a claim, the state is asking for a probate and when I checked with the reporting company the claimant is the named beneficiary which means they should not require a probate. I did another one and the daughter of the deceased was the claimant the state told me the ssn was incorrect. I told them they mixed it up. They got upset and denied it. The deceased was Carl the daughter is Carla. I resubmitted the claim as is and it was paid. Even though I didn't charge anything.
