If you could only grow 1 thing.....
In the past I used to grow things like eggplant, squash, and others that my family just didn't like to eat so a few years back I decided to only grow things that we would actually eat. Funny thing is that those things we like don't grow year round and some of them don't grow in our climate at all. Even with these challenges I still try to grow these. Rhubarb and mango are some of those that I am still working on. If you could only grow 1 thing what would that be?

@Dennis Wichter I eat the seeds. One daily. According to my research the entire plant is edible and full of nutrients. You can make teas or just eat the leaves.
How do you garden?

RIP my little avocado
This baby was growing in water. She was not happy at first when I put her in soil but she did seem to want to recover after a week or so. Unfortunately, one of the dogs decided to use it as a chew toy so sheโ€™s gone now. This is the last pic I took of her. (Iโ€™m not crying youโ€™re crying)

My little success with a yellow tomato and a chili plant.
This is my yellow tomato and the before and after of my chili plant. I had to strip and clean the chili due to some little white who knows whats. They were taking over! The tomato was hanging on for dear life until I put it in this container. I didnโ€™t have the proper tape so I improvised with scotch tape. She didnโ€™t seem to mind.

Hello! My name is Cynthia. I am currently growing yellow tomatoes and chili peppers. I would like to grow a full on veggie and herb garden. I joined this community to learn about living soil. Iโ€™d like to grow all of my edibles in living soil. I imagine it must be more nutritious.
