In the world, but not OF it....
I've prayed about this and I think I now realize what Graham Cooke and others mean when they talk about a worldly perspective vs. a Heavenly one — which is what we’re actually meant to have! ✨ “Upstairs Thinking” ✨ ✝️ Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” Here’s what the Lord showed me: When we entertain or agree with negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, or choose to participate in ungodly activities — we’re living in "the pattern" of this world.🥴 But when we intentionally set our minds on higher things, focus above, and stay steadfast in Jesus through prayer and communion with Him — we start becoming "transformed by the renewing of our mind. "😇 This elevated way of thinking is actually our true state — the one the enemy has tried so hard to hide from us.😶🌫️ It’s why thinking this way can feel “weird” at first… but it’s actually our true home! And our RIGHT way of thinking! ✝️ Ephesians 2:6: God “raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus” It's time to break free of worldly conditioning and take our place "seated in Heavenly places!" Living with Eternal Perspective ✝️ “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen…” — 2 Corinthians 4:18 When our attention stays on what’s temporary — the struggles, the chaos, the noise — life feels heavy. But when we lift our gaze, grace helps us see from Heaven’s point of view. That’s where peace and clarity live. 🪞 Reflection: Are your thoughts anchored in what’s eternal or caught up in what’s temporary? 💭 Practice Step: Push pause today and ask Jesus, “Lord, how does this moment look from Your perspective?”
