🏆 Drop your "Victory Photos" here! (No project is too small)
Let’s be honest—some weeks, finishing a project feels like winning an Olympic gold medal. 🥇 Between the holiday chaos, the "frogging" (rip-it, rip-it 🐸), and the general madness of December, actually reaching the end of a skein is a total mental health win. Finishing a project isn’t just about the yarn; it’s about the dopamine hit of saying, "I did the thing!" Whether you finished a giant chunky blanket at The Makery (one of my local classes)this week, conquered a single Christmas ornament, or finally wove in the ends of a project you started in 2022... WE WANT TO SEE IT. The Rules: 1️⃣No "perfection" allowed. We love wonky stitches and "character." 2️⃣Bragging is mandatory. 3️⃣If you haven't finished a project yet, post a photo of a row you’re proud of! Now, take a second to look at what you made. You took a single string and turned it into a thing. You’re basically a magician. 🪄 Post your victory photos in the comments below so we can virtually high-five you! 👇

I don’t think I’ve finished anything this week. I just have stuff I’m working on.
Keeping track
I have been crocheting a while now and have tried so many different methods for tracking orders and projects in the space that I have, bins has been my solution. I pull the yarn, po, & pattern or notes and put them in the bin. I sort them by due date and work on them one at a time. What processes do you use to keep track?
Keeping track
I definitely need a better way to keep track and keep on task. Currently I really don’t have a way to keep track and everything is just in different bags, but I have gotten a couple totes for yarn and I want to maybe get three drawer bins to keep track of projects and things in progress better.
Wellness Wednesday
Today I am very late to post. I had a bit of a me day. I spent the morning working on a crochet order while the girls did some online schooling, then got them ready to go on a play date. I arranged for a friend to keep them for a few hours while I went out to get some stocking stuffer gifts. It was nice. Just me and my thoughts on a mission. Lol. I was able to get myself lunch, grab an ice cream and just enjoy time with myself without hook in hand, dogs barking or kids needing me. Don't get me wrong, I love my family and crochet, but it's been a long time since I've had a few hours to just be without work or family pulling at me. What did you do today for a little self care?
Wellness Wednesday
Bought some ice cream that I plan to eat before bed.

I’m sorry I wasn’t on while you were live, but I’m watching now!
Day 2: Thankful for the Tools
Today, we appreciate the tools and materials that bring your projects to life. Take a photo of your favorite crochet hook or skein of yarn and share why you are thankful for it. Does it feel good in your hand? Is the color inspiring? I love these super simple cushioned hooks. They are no name from Amazon. But they serve me well. They are comfortable and easy to manage, no snagging in the hook.

This is my favorite crochet hook, handed down by my mom @Melissa Steiner to me a few years ago now. It has interchangeable hooks and lights up which has been really helpful recently with how much I’ve been in the passenger seat of the car and how early it’s been getting dark out.

@Melissa Steiner thanks mom! I have a goal to try to get one that counts stitches too for bigger projects sometime this year, but this will probably be my favorite forever unless you hand me down any better ones hahah
