Picking my son up at school so he doesn't have to ride the bus home. I have a fun project for him to help me with at home. Got the dog along for the fun too. Who'd a-thunk ya could wear a flannel alone and be comfortable in the middle of January, on the plains of South Dakota? $35 100% cotton flannel from Ely Cattleman. Picked up at the local farmstore and wrote it off as a business uniform expenditure, along with some other straps and cargo securement items. 😃

Had to be outside today for a funeral service so I went for warm and respectfully dressed. Wore a military Peacoat as an overcoat. Not sure I like the look with a tie. It seems to casual. May need to invest in a traditional overcoat. Got several comments on looking sharp and one person asking if I joined the Navy because of the Peacoat.
