Hi guys. Wanted to jump on the heels of @Ebony Hill’s lemon tree, which is pretty cool. I provide free oranges and bananas, and coloring sheets at my weekly market. No purchase necessary for passers by. It’s not expensive and the return on investment is pretty good considering •kids take the fruit, then see the lemonade and ask their parents •even if they take the fruit and don’t get lemonade *that* day, they come back another time and will buy. • you’re providing healthy and free options to care givers in case they blew all their money on donuts and goat milk soap, in which case they’ll remember you and come back again. 😉 Photo for reference.

There were no legal abilities for this for me (other than health dept) because I used syrups instead of fresh fruit.

@Charles Perry it would taste delicious!
Ask Me Anything:
I've sold lemonade at NASCAR races and festivals of over 15k people. I also bottle and sell my lemonade wholesale to retailers in NC.

@Laurance Turner right-o. Bain of my existence. I’ll be converting my garage next year into one.

@Laurance Turner thanks. Where I’m located in GA, lemons are governed by Dept of Health and not Ag. My county allows a commercial kitchen in a garage so I’m going that route next year.
Why I Bought an Ice Machine
My cost on ice last year was ~$900 on ice alone. This year so far is ~$1500. This amount was 98% 20lb bags at $3.88 a piece. It was all purchased tax exempt. Considering the time it cost alone to get ice from my normal store, driving there and sometimes wasting for them to fill the machine or get me the ice or of the back- it was a grocery store, I decided to look at ice makers. I started searching for an ice machine in this combined range of $2500-$3000. I found on VEVOR that I could buy a machine that would make 360lbs a day and hold 300lbs in the chest for $1000. I bought this brand because all the ones on Webstaurant were twice the price and all had awful reviews. I'm setting it up now and will post updates. By this time next year it should have more than paid for itself!

I love the work smarter, not harder theme. I’m also avoiding my financial insights, but you inspired me. Thanks.
