I’ve been asked why I limit the posting in this group to once a day, and the answer is for the same reason that I limit how much I personally post in this group each day (I try really hard to limit myself to 2!)…. It’s to protect your visibility. The goal of this group is to help you become as visible as possible. If people are able to post as often as they want, one person could easily clog the feed with their own posts and push everyone else down to lower pages. By limiting everyone to one post a day, everyone gets time on the first page, the quality of the posts goes up, and the overall feel is more conversational and less spammy. Thoughts???

I've been chugging along working on my book, making all the changes my Development Editor suggested - which were a lot because she is amazing! But publishing a book takes a looooong time. During that process you often wonder - will anyone read this? Will it mean as much to others as it does to me? I guess it's not necessarily imposter syndrome (although I've had plenty of that too) but it's just that little sliver of self-doubt that creeps in when you really don't need it. So, while I was wrestling with the content of my book, I had the delightful honor to be featured in the Universal Journal of 21st Century Women's Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Technology, & Publishing. It reassured me that what I have to say matters and that other people value what I'm doing. I talk A LOT about not needing that external validation, but it is definitely really special when it comes along! So, if you need some external validation during these insane holiday times ~ You have value! You are doing amazing things! You are appreciated!
