🔨The Art of Splitting Stone | Outdoor Field Class🪨
I’ve been thinking a lot lately about doing a full live outdoor tutorial for the community. Something real, hands-on, and filmed right out in the field where it all actually happens.🌞 Not just a quick edited clip, but a true “Field 101” style workshop on how to drill and split rocks safely and properly while out crystal and mineral hunting. From the tools I use, how I read the rock, where to drill, how to split material without destroying it, and the little things you only learn after spending years out in the bush.🎥 I think a lot of people see the final crystal or stone online, but they never get to see the real process behind it. The hard work, the excitement, the mistakes, the learning, and those moments when a rock finally opens and you see what Mother Earth hid inside for millions of years. That’s the part I really want to share.✅️ This community is becoming more than just posting rocks and minerals to me. It’s starting to feel like a group of real people learning together, helping each other, and keeping the outdoor prospecting lifestyle alive. I want to build more real outdoor classroom-style content where people can actually learn skills they can take into the field themselves.🌲 Would you guys be interested in a full live outdoor “Rock Splitting & Drilling 101” workshop?👷♀️ I could cover things like:2⚒️ • Basic field safety❓️ • How to spot good material✅️ • Drill placement and technique✅️ • Splitting methods✅️ • Beginner mistakes to avoid❌️ • Tool setups and gear✅️ • Reading seams, fractures, and veins✅️ • Respecting nature and leaving the area cleaner than we found it✅️ There’s something special about learning outdoors with fresh air, good people, and the sound of rock cracking open in the mountains. I think it could be an awesome experience for everyone here. 💚💚💚 comment down below👇
