Singers: Why You Need Outside Ears to Grow Your Voice
You cannot hear yourself the way others hear you. This is not a flaw. It's biology. The bones in your head conduct sound internally in a way that changes what you perceive. Which means when you think you sound one way, your audience is hearing something different. This is one of the biggest reasons self-teaching hits a ceiling. You're listening to the wrong version of your voice. A trained teacher hears what you can't. They hear the tension before it becomes a problem. The pitch drift before it becomes a habit. The breathiness that's costing you resonance. Outside ears aren't a luxury for advanced singers. They're the foundation of real progress at every level. This is exactly why I offer a free voice assessment to anyone 12 and up who wants to know what a trained ear actually notices. Singers: "Too Far Gone"? Let's Talk About That.
I've had students tell me, dead serious, that they were "too far gone." Their voice was too wrecked, too old, too weird, too whatever. And honestly, I get it. That's a real fear. But here's what I've learned after decades of teaching: most "voice problems" aren't damage. They're habits. And habits can change. I've watched people completely transform the way they use their voice in a matter of weeks. Not because they were special. Because they were willing to try something different. Drop a "me too" in the comments if you've ever felt like your voice was the problem. Join the community and get help with this: https://www.skool.com/voice

🎤 Want to watch private voice lessons LIVE?
I’m now streaming real private 1:1 voice lessons into my community every week. Not demos. Not staged. Actual students. Real coaching. Real progress. LIVE! Why this matters: Most singers never see how improvement actually happens. They just get tips online and hope for the best. This is different. You get to: - watch technique being built step by step - hear real-time corrections - learn what to listen for in your own voice - experience our teaching before booking a lesson Membership options: Premium – $47/mo - Weekly live group classes (observe + learn) - Private lesson streams (live + replay) - Full community + training access VIP – $97/mo - Everything in Premium - 1 private lesson/month - Full access to live classes (active participation) Bottom line: If private lessons aren’t for you right now, this is the next best thing. ✔ streamed weekly (schedule posted each week) ✔ live + replays 👉 https://www.skool.com/voice/plans Would you watch full private lessons to improve your own voice?

KidSing Academy, Performing Arts, and All Things VOICE
I originally built it as a simple space for my students to access replays, resources, and stay connected. What I didn’t expect is how much I’d enjoy the community side of it. It’s been really fun getting to know people beyond just singing. As business owners, we’re all juggling multiple interests. As I mentioned (I'll always mention it because I want to connect and learn!), outside of music, I’m into health, yoga, fitness, travel, philosophy, culture, cozy living, and good books. I also like crafts, so I'm open to suggestions for that, too! If you have a Skool in any of those areas, drop it below. I’d genuinely love to check it out and support. And if singing is your thing, or someone in your world needs it, here’s mine:https://www.skool.com/voice/about?ref=35bdee40653641d085db68bf44d63e33 KidSing Academy is getting closer to opening for beta. Parents and kids learning together with guidance and support. What’s been the most surprising part of building your Skool so far?
