I'm thankful for a couple different church friends that independently gave me the reminder that God does not waste our suffering. Little background is that I got laid off 2 months ago which was not in the financial planning when my wife and I bought a house only 6 months ago and just trying to navigate a tough job market in Boston. So bit of a bummer but thankful for encouragement from friends
