It’s been a minute
Hey guys, it’s been a minute. Life got crazy and a lot of changes hit at once. I’ve moved into a new place and am still unpacking, physically, emotionally, spiritually. God has been kind in the way he has shown me rest during this stress. I’m finding more free time as I set my house in order, so I’ll be updating and adding more here for us to share with others. How has God been kind to you this week?

We made it through another week!
As our week comes to a close and we step into Sunday, what is one thing you are thankful for this past week?
Quick Q 9/24
What is something you wish you had, or wish you had when you were younger, to help you grow in your daily walk with Jesus?
Tactically reading Psalm 51
Read through Psalm 51. This chapter has sat on me for the past few days. In reading this, I realized that I have lived in verses 3-5. While this is true, as I do continue to sin, I have to read this in context of my relationship with God, is found in the rest of the chapter. Satan loves to have us focus on our sin, the 3-5 section of Psalm 51, but God’s forgiveness, instruction, purification, mercy, and joy all are found in the remaining verses of the chapter. How much more of life do we miss because we listen to our enemy highlight 3 verses of an entire chapter? I have had to learn that when Psalm 51:3-5 comes to my mind, and my sin is paraded in front of me, I must remind myself that there is more to the chapter. —After reading Psalm 51– How does reading Psalm 51 impact how you tactically move through your day, and how can you combat Satan when he parades your sin in front of you? How did God speak to you through your time in this scripture?

Return when you remember.
Last week really did a number on me. I worked over 50hrs and felt exhausted. I 100% dropped the ball on working on this, which Satan was quick to point out as a reason for me to not be focused on this. But here’s the thing, sometimes we forget. We are human. The thing that helps us move forward is to return when we remember. My word for this week is return. I want to return to my goals and dreams if I get distracted. I want to return to my passions when work overtakes my schedule. Most importantly, I want to return to my savior when sin seeks to turn the lights out on my life. What is something you can return to this week?
