Hi folks. I decided to set up a couple of events so we can get to know each other. If you're anything like me, you work from home on your own and it can be nice to actually talk to some other humans during the day. For now, I've set up 'Coffee Break Wednesdays' every Wednesday at 2.30pm UK time. You can find the details in the calendar I've picked a time to try to cover most time zones but I know that can be frustrating if you are in bed then. Hopefully as the group grows we can accommodate everyone. I will also be setting up a week long challenge starting on Monday August 25th. This will be a marketing challenge using Notion to plan and measure our marketing. I've not set this up on the calendar yet as I'm trying to figure out the logistics. Keep the date in mind if you want to take part and get back in the swing of things after what has been a long summer break here in Scotland. Please introduce yourself, share a bit about your business and where in the world you are. Here's a little bit about me and why I started this community. I'm Amy, I live in Aberdeen in North East Scotland and I absolutely love Notion. Interesting claim to fame - Sean Connery was my great grandmothers milkman before he was an actor! I can't stop building Notion tools. If I listen to a podcast episode I can see a Notion system to implement what the person is talking about. But marketing and selling them was becoming difficult. I felt like I was all over the place, because I have so many tools. Which I will gradually share as I get my act together. I've been in a number of other Skool communities and I love the way you can combine free and paid content (essentially your marketing and your sales) in one place. I also love hanging out in online communities with people who understand the fun and games (and the mind meltdowns) of building your own business. There is a free tool in the free resources along with quick training if you are brand new to Notion. I will add more as we go. You can also unlock other tool or trainings when you earn engagement points. Please feel free to make requests for tools or trainings, I want you to help shape this place and make it the best for all of us. Amy
