TikTok Replaced LIVE Subscriptions With "Fan Club" TikTok swapped out the old Subscriptions feature for a brand new "Fan Club" option. This is a new way for your loyal viewers to support you beyond just gifts. If you've been building a consistent LIVE audience, this is another monetization tool in your toolbox. Start paying attention to your repeat viewers — they're your future Fan Club members. 2. "Tiles" — A New LIVE Feature TikTok added a new display feature for Lives called "Tiles." People were telling me in the chat that things weren't smooth. Instead of panicking, I turned the music down, started asking the chat questions to keep people engaged, and quietly tried to troubleshoot. I kept talking. I kept the energy up. I didn't freak out. Some people said it got better. But new viewers were still saying it was glitchy. So I made the call to end the LIVE about 30 minutes early. And that was the RIGHT call. Here's the lesson: Things WILL go wrong on your LIVE. Your sound card might act up. Your internet might lag. Your music might cut out. It's not IF — it's WHEN. It happens to me. It happens to creators with millions of followers. It will happen to you. When something goes wrong, here's the playbook: Don't panic. The moment you say "oh no my audio is messed up" you give every viewer a reason to leave. Keep your composure. Buy yourself time. Ask the chat questions.
