Capacity Check ๐ŸŒฑ
One of the quiet skills inside Perennial Planning is learning to recognize your true capacity. Not the capacity you wish you had. Not the capacity other people assume you have. Not the capacity you had during your best week last year. Your actual capacity right now. Capacity shifts with seasons of lifeโ€”energy, health, workload, family, creativity, stress, even the time of year. A winter season of planning might hold a different capacity than a summer season of building. And thatโ€™s normal. Good planning isnโ€™t about squeezing more into the calendar. Itโ€™s about aligning your plans with the capacity you actually have available. Sometimes that means: โ€ข doing less โ€ข focusing on one or two important things โ€ข letting something rest for a season โ€ข protecting the energy you need for what matters most Think of it like gardening. You wouldnโ€™t plant a full summer garden in frozen ground. You plan according to the season. Your life and work are the same way. Reflection: Where does your capacity feel like it is right now?

Now that Iโ€™ve stepped back and viewed things. I can say my capacity is growing and getting a better flow!
๐Ÿ‚ What Season Are You In Right Now?
One of the core ideas in the Perennial Planning Method is that life and work move in seasons. Just like in nature, not every moment is meant for growth, production, or expansion. Sometimes weโ€™re planting. Sometimes weโ€™re building. Sometimes weโ€™re harvesting. And sometimes weโ€™re resting. So take a moment and reflect: What season are you currently in? ๐ŸŒฑ Spring โ€” Planting & PossibilityNew ideas, learning, experimenting, laying foundations. โ˜€๏ธ Summer โ€” Growth & BuildingMomentum, execution, putting energy into the work. ๐Ÿ‚ Autumn โ€” Harvest & RefinementCompleting projects, sharing results, refining what worked. โ„๏ธ Winter โ€” Rest & ReflectionRecovery, evaluation, visioning, preparing for the next cycle. Thereโ€™s no โ€œrightโ€ season to be in. The power comes from recognizing where you actually are, so you can work with your energy instead of against it. If youโ€™re open to sharing, drop a comment: โ€ข What season are you in right now? โ€ข What does that look like in your life or work? โ€ข What are you focusing on in this season? Letโ€™s see where everyone is in their cycle. ๐ŸŒฟ

Definitely a mix of spring and summer!
Introduce Yourself!
One of the best parts of this space is getting to know the people walking alongside us. Whether you just joined or have been here for a while, this is a good moment to say hello. If youโ€™re comfortable sharing, tell us a little about you: โ€ข Your name (or what you like to be called) โ€ข What you do โ€” artist, entrepreneur, gardener, maker, dreamerโ€ฆ all of it counts โ€ข Your business, project, or website (if you have one) โ€ข Where you are in life or in your journey right now โ€ข What youโ€™re currently working toward or exploring You can keep it short or share more of your story โ€” whatever feels right. This community is made up of people in very different seasons of life and work, and that variety is part of what makes conversations here meaningful. So go ahead โ€” introduce yourself. Weโ€™d love to know whoโ€™s here. ๐ŸŒฟ

Hey everyone! My name is Chris, and Iโ€™m an artist, illustrator, and entrepreneur. I am currently working on honing in on my niche product (miniature paintings) and getting back into planning new art series. Trying to plan out ahead so I no longer have to be on a constant grind allowing me to have freedom in my everyday, and creative ventures. Theartcollectiveinternational.com
