(Temporary) fail!
Didn’t manage to get my first video out there yesterday due to some technical issues - but now I’m pretty sure they are all sorted so I am planning the first TEN videos and will start posting them from Monday! Things don’t always go perfectly and that’s one of the main points of the group. Plus the first video is not the real goal - I’m trying to build the workflow for a whole series of videos - and that is still well on track despite this delay! But yes - I did still have a few choice with myself!!!

I’m excited to see it. Based on what you’ve mentioned I’m looking forward to gleening inspiration. I totally get the hurdles that come with production the more I try to do. Though I’m sorry you may feel deflated…. It’s actually encouraging as I know we all have the same struggles to overcome.

@Stuart Baulk workflow wisdom. It’s my weakness indeed
Output vs Balance
I realised sonething this week, like I always do when I talk to my sister… Output is my drive for my room. I want to make music and release it, or at least play it to and/or with other people. But not everyone wants or needs to do that. For some, building and developing a creative space is just about getting to a personal balance. We have offices and jobs that we go to, maybe we even spend a solid chunk of our lives there. We have home offices - significant chunks of our homes that we work in. Why not also have a space that’s for being creative, just for us? It doesn’t have to be designed to record an album, produce a podcast, put together an art exhibition, write a novel, or make the world’s biggest crochet sculpture. It can just be for doing those things, for YOU. An old boss of mine would maybe call this POTTERING (not pottery). In other words, a room to be you in. A room to do things and make things, that you may or may not share. If you had an extra room available - how would you use it?

thanks for the thought provoking :) It'd be a homeschool room for my girls and a studio... wall for youtube videos.
