8 contributions to Coach Chris: Sales & Leaders
Being the best "Coach Chris" (not the next Tony Robbins)
What a month, guys. I’ve spent years trying to be the next Alex Hormozi, Grant Cardone, or Tony Robbins. But this month, I finally leaned into just being Coach Chris. Imperfect, flawed, but driven by a massive heart for other people's success. A few updates from the journey: - Filling the Spirit Gap: Back in 2020, my "Wheel of Life" (shoutout to Tony Robbins) showed a massive void in spirituality. This month, I officially joined a church for the first time in my adult life. It’s been an incredible experience of commitment and focus. Out of respect for privacy, we’ve found a path that connects for my family—and it has changed everything. - The Career "Soul" Gap: My coaching and mentoring work has reached a new level of satisfaction. Handling reviews and succession planning this month reminded me how much I love connecting with people on a deep level. - What’s next for this group? I’m currently building an Elite Sales Professional micro-course (dropping in the next 60 days). My goal here isn't to spam you—it’s to drop high-value micro-courses, post weekly, and connect with great humans. I’m grateful for the journey. Let’s win together.

sounds great! let us know if you need any help with feedback on it.
How can your community help you, Chris?
@Chris Ewald As the title states - how can we help you in your community? Where do you see this community going in 2026? Edit* How can we help Chris answer: What value would this community get out of a experienced sales, leadership, master life coach, certified 10x business coach? If this community can help me answer that question, that would be very helpful.

@Chris Ewald, The sales experience + 10x Business coach overlap quite a bit? leadership + life coaching also have some overlap too, right? I do not know if you are in Chris S.'s group "The Prosperity Network" as I feel like his main focus is on business and sales. Maybe worth joining to talk to him as well to discuss ideas and direction with too. Why I am bringing it up - is because you have 3-4 directions which you could go... but need to focus on one singular path for best results. Which one could you do even more of? Which one brings you enjoyment and does not feel like work? Beyond that; once you have the singular path as your focus - you can adjust your branding to match to make it easy and understandable for new members. Plus you would be able to build out classroom courses focused around that and charge what you are worth.

@Chris Ewald excellent! So with sales leadership as your primary focus, you could branch off around the topic: Prospecting (which you mentioned) confidence on sales calls (Cold calls, appointment setting & closing) objection handling building rapport/gaining trust
I'm digging my new logo. What do you think of it?
I use Google Gemini 3 and Nano Banana to create images. I like this one!

It turned out really good! In a way blending your former idea of the Phoenix with a simplified name.
Let’s get real for a moment.
We are living in a culture that has drifted from its true north. Do this exercise with me: Name the top three "leaders" that pop into your head. Go. Now, look at that list. What defines them? If we are honest, most of those names are defined by their bank accounts or their business empires. Since the 1980s, we have been conditioned to equate "leadership" with "financial conquest." There is nothing wrong with making money. If that is your path, own it. But we cannot pretend that financial accumulation is the pinnacle of human success. It is not enough. I recently stepped into a role as a full-time coach and leader, and I fell in love with it. But when I looked for others to join me—to step up and lead—I was met with silence. Not a single hand went up. Why? Because everyone understands the unspoken truth: True leadership requires sacrifice. Most people are willing to work hard for their own success, but very few are willing to sacrifice that personal glory for the success of the team. We see this void everywhere—from Wall Street to Washington, from corporate boardrooms to our own neighborhoods. We have become a society focused inward, fighting only for our own families. But we are called to be bigger than that. We need a shift. We need people brave enough to say that success isn't just about what you keep; it's about what you give. We have a leadership void, and it is waiting for people with the courage to fill it. Step up. Be better. Lead.
Let’s get real for a moment.

Two leaders I wish more people would understand their views: Buckminster Fuller Jacque Fresco Sure there are business moguls/Industrialists like: Howard Hughes Henry Ford Karl Benz But instead of looking up to idolize them - we would be better off learning from them and understanding their time period which played a huge part in their decision making. Monetary gain should not be the measure of success. It is just a means of doing more or expanding power and influence. We should be focusing on other aspects of life, community and collaboration as they will help go further, faster. anyone praising that competition is the only way to be hyper successful is setting themselves up for a downfall or burning their wings off (see Icarus Paradox). Even the definition of real has been twisted and construed soo much in the last decade, people have a hard time differentiating from Real from "fake". Added AI is making this even worse.
I changed the name of the group
So this happened. Originally, I thought combing the two books I wrote into a cool name would be a great start. But, it did not relate to the content. So, welcome to The Value Edge Coaching Group. Simple, concise, and exactly what this group is about. Same group, new updated name.

I like the new name and direction a lot better Chris! Probably should pin this post and unpin the phoenix one to avoid confusion.
