Monday Motivation: Easy and Light
As we’re well into 2026, I find myself still planning, dreaming, and thinking about how I want this year to feel, not just what I want to accomplish. And there are two words that keep coming to mind over and over again: Easy and light. They’re inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:30, when He tells us that His yoke is easy and His burden is light, and that we find rest when we come to Him. When it comes to entrepreneurship and content creation, there can often feel like a clash here. We’re told that to earn more, we have to work harder. That success requires hustle, exhaustion, and showing up everywhere, all the time, far beyond our capacity. But that message is completely counter to the words of Jesus. And deep down, I know it isn’t true. We don’t need to do all of that. In fact, so much of business, life, and creativity becomes heavy because we overcomplicate what Jesus makes simple. He says, Come to Me. When we make Jesus the priority, even in our businesses and content, there should be a natural sense of alignment, flow, and peace. That doesn’t mean there won’t be challenges or obstacles. It means we’re not meant to carry unnecessary weight. For me, keeping things easy and light this year looks like a few intentional choices. First, I’m committing to doing work I genuinely enjoy. So often, we feel pressure to do things simply because someone else says it’s the path to success, or because it worked for them. But if it’s not aligned with the gifts and talents God has given you, it will always feel heavy. Ask yourself: What do I enjoy doing? Because what brings you life is often deeply connected to what you’re called to do. Second, I want to make more time to celebrate and connect. Last week, I celebrated my 40th birthday with a planner party, because I love planners, and invited some of my closest friends to create vision boards together. This past weekend, I traveled to Texas to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday with family, good food, and lots of laughter. These milestone moments reminded me that I don’t want to rush past life chasing a finish line. If we’re always focused on what hasn’t happened yet, we miss the joy of being in the race at all.

Monday Motivation: When to Pause, Pivot, or Push
One of the most frustrating parts of business and content creation is that nothing stays the same for very long. Just when you think you’ve found your rhythm, something shifts. The market changes. Your life changes. Your energy changes. And suddenly you’re left wondering, What am I supposed to do next? When we don’t know the next step, it’s easy for confusion, fear, or doubt to creep in. And often, instead of choosing the right move, we end up choosing no move at all. Over time, I’ve learned that in most seasons, there are really only three possible next steps. And with prayer and discernment, God will make it clear which one is ours to take: Pause. Pivot. Or Push. 1. Sometimes the right move is to pause. Pausing doesn’t mean quitting. It doesn’t mean you’re failing or falling behind. It means you’re creating space to get clarity. There are seasons when we need to slow down, get still, and assess what’s actually happening. What has changed? What’s working? What isn’t? What is God inviting you to notice right now? So many people quit in seasons where they really just needed to pause. They didn’t need to burn everything down. They didn’t need a brand-new plan. They needed stillness. They needed perspective. They needed to listen. When we’re constantly moving, hustling, and pushing, it’s hard to hear God clearly or accurately assess our lives, our businesses, or the market. But when we pause, things come into focus. We can celebrate how far we’ve come, learn from what didn’t work, and make wiser decisions about what’s next. 2. Sometimes it’s time to pivot. Just because something worked in one season doesn’t mean it will work in the next. Pivoting can feel scary because it requires change. It asks us to let go of what’s familiar and step into something new. But life changes. The market changes. Our capacity changes. And growth often requires adaptation. Pivoting doesn’t mean starting from scratch. It means starting from experience. Sometimes God is doing a new thing in our business or ministry, and our resistance to change is the very thing holding us back. We don’t have to be precious about how things ā€œused to be.ā€ Instead, we can see pivots as invitations to walk with God in a new way.

@Monique Davis I completely understand. It can be overwhelming when you think of the big picture. Just be sure to take it one step at a time. šŸ’œ

@Nancy Jackson Totally understand! We’ll most likely never feel completely ready. I’ve learned taking action is what leads to the clarity I’ve been seeking.
[VIDEO] Why starting before you’re ready matters more than ever
I almost didn’t record this video because my office wasn’t clean. I told myself I’d wait until everything looked ā€œrightā€ before pressing record, but then I realized how often we do that as content creators. We delay starting because we’re waiting for better conditions, more confidence, or the perfect setup. Building Beloved Women taught me that growth didn’t come from doing things perfectly; it came from starting anyway. In this video, I share why choosing action over perfection changed everything for me, and why starting before you feel ready might be the very thing that moves you forward right now. Enjoy šŸ’œ

Your Voice Matters More Than Ever Right Now
HelloĀ Beloved! Lately, I’ve felt a deeper urgency than ever before when it comes to Christian women showing up in business and content creation. Everywhere I look, I see business coaches and strategists building platforms rooted in astrology, manifestation, magic, and spiritual practices that are completely disconnected from Christ. At the same time, I see fewer Christian women stepping forward boldly in the marketplace. Fewer women willing to start businesses, create content, and lead with faith, truth, and integrity. I keep coming back to this truth: We were never called to hide. Jesus didn’t tell us to keep the light inside church walls or Christian circles. He told us to go. To make disciples. To let our light shine so the world could see Him through us. That’s why Beloved & Co. exists. It’s alsoĀ why I’m hosting ourĀ 7-Day Content-to-Profit Challenge, starting tomorrow. Over the next seven days, I’m going to teach everything I know about content creation, online business, and building sustainably without burnout. Not from a hustle mindset. Not from a worldly strategy. But from a foundation rooted in Christian beliefs, biblical wisdom, and purpose. JOIN BELOVED & CO! This challenge is an invitation to: - āŒ stop shrinking back. - āŒ stop waiting until you feel ready - āŒ stop building quietly when God is calling you to be visible . . . . . because we need: - Christian women in the marketplace - Faith-filled voices creating content. - Businesses built for the Kingdom. If you’ve been thinking about joining Beloved & Co., now is the best time. You can join the 7-Day Content-to-Profit Challenge by starting a 7-day free trial on any level of the Beloved & Co. Membership. There’s no pressure. My heart is simply to help as many women as possible step into clarity, confidence, and calling.

Selling Isn’t Sinful: The Truth Christian Women Need to Hear About Money & Ministry
Do you ever feel guilty charging for your work as a Christian woman in business? You love God. You want to serve people. You want your work to honor Him. But the moment it’s time to sell—whether it’s a course, a coaching offer, a study guide, or a service—you hesitate. Is it wrong to charge for my gifts? Does selling make me selfish? Can ministry and money really mix? If you’ve wrestled with these questions, you’re not alone. I have too. And for a long time, these beliefs kept me undercharging, overgiving, and quietly burning out. Let’s talk about the lies that keep Christian women stuck—and the truth that brings freedom. My Confession: I Used to Feel Guilty Charging There was a season when I felt bad charging for anything, especially ministry-related work. I didn’t want money to feel like a barrier between what God gave me to share and the people I was called to serve. That changed when I launched one of my Bible studies. The teaching videos were free online, but I offered a paid physical study guide for women who wanted to go deeper. Most women loved it—but one comment stopped me cold: ā€œYou shouldn’t charge for the gospel.ā€ It stung. But the Holy Spirit gently reminded me of something important: The gospel is free. The resources that help people study it are not. That study guide wasn’t selling salvation. It was sustaining the work God had already called me to. And selling it allowed me to continue offering free Bible study videos to women all over the world. Money wasn’t a barrier. It was a tool. The Lies That Keep Christian Women From Selling After mentoring hundreds of faith-driven women, I’ve seen the same patterns come up again and again. Many of us believe things like: - Selling feels greedy or selfish - Ministry and money don’t mix - People will lose respect for me if I charge - If I really cared, I’d give everything away - What if I fail or look like a fraud? Underneath these lies are deeper issues: people-pleasing, fear of man, and a misunderstanding of stewardship.
