Tea Time Technical Difficulties (and Update)
I went live today for the Tea Time (Tuesday, March 17) and had some trouble getting connected to the room. And the recording did not work so no replay! 😫 During the live, I chatted about this being St. Patrick's Day--how we connect (or not) to this day for a variety of reasons. So instead of looking to the saint for advice on this day, I looked to The Morrígan instead. The Morrígan is a triple Goddess sacred to the land of Ireland. She is integral to many of the myths and stories of that time. However, much of her mythology has probably been lost due to the lack of written records by the Celtic peoples as well as the recording of the stories by Christian missionaries (like St. Patrick!) many years later--with their own particular views. However, we can look to what we do know about Her for messages, support, and deep work when facing personal battles or stepping into our own sovereignty. During the live, I drew a card from the Call of the Morrígan Oracle along with two cards from the Crow Tarot for a message from this ancient Goddess for today's time. The oracle card I drew was Lady of Sovereignty--ruling over own authentic selves. The two guiding Tarot cards I drew from the Crow Tarot were The Tower and The Hierophant--when the ground seems to be crumbling underneath our feet, we can rely on our own traditions, wisdom and knowledge to build something new and better. Book recommendations for working with the Celtic and Irish Goddesses ~ - Goddess Alive and Goddess Afoot by Michelle Skye: includes Irish/Celtic as well as Norse Goddesses - Celtic Myth and Magic by Edain McCoy: includes stories, magical workings, and a reference section for the Gods and Goddesses - Kindling the Celtic Spirit by Mara Freeman: a year-round guide to the Celtic seasons (love this one!) - Celtic Lore and Spellcraft of the Dark Goddess by Stephanie Woodfield: specifically about working with The Morrígan - Celtic Mythology by Philip Freeman: many of the myths in story form - Dark Goddess Craft by Stephanie Woodfield: includes Goddesses from various pantheons including Celtic

REPLAY! Witch's Tea Time - March 10, 2026
😍 Thank you to the live attendees for your support and input! If you are watching the replay, feel free to ask about Jupiter and/or Cancer in your chart. Today we explored how Jupiter going direct in Cancer can show up in the world and in our personal charts and lives. - You may have been feeling constrained in your home or attempting to get projects off the ground during the retrograde. Now is the time to move forward! - You may want to explore boundaries you have in place. What needs to be reinforced? What may become flexible? - Jupiter in Cancer energy can reinforce actions you wish to take as the new season approaches. Look for Cancer in your chart to see what areas may be ready for growth and expansion. 🌷Make sure to check the calendar for special Spring Equinox and Ostara events happening in the Coven next week! See you soon-- 🩷 Kelly

🧹 This Week at the Broom and Moon - March 9-15
Hello Witches! 😁 It is Monday (again!)--the second week of March is upon us. As we draw closer and closer to the Equinox and Ostara, we can prepare for this liminal transition time with some witchy events happening this week. - Jupiter goes direct on Tuesday, March 10. 🍀 The planet of luck and expansion is leaving its retrograde in Cancer--a wonderful time to get a head start on Spring cleaning--especially at home. Move your furniture around, clean your windows, declutter a drawer to allow for high energies to expand around you. - The Last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius arrives on Wednesday, March 11. 🌗 This fiery but waning energy can illuminate a need for change or movement--make sure that you are intentional with your actions. - "Beware the Ides of March." 🏛️ The Ides of March is Sunday, March 15. In Ancient Rome, the 15th of March was a day similar to our tax day--for settling debts. However, this day became infamous when Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44 BCE. Many years later, this quote became famous from Shakespeare's play--Julius Caesar. A Soothsayer in the play warns Caesar of this day--but the leader ignores him and later mets his untimely fate. And so today, we associate the Ides of March with doom, gloom, and betrayal. (See below for more information on this day.) --Coven Events coming up this week-- ☕️ Our next Witch's Tea Time is tomorrow, Tuesday, March 10 at 2pm ET. We will be chatting about Jupiter--the planet's energy, current placement, and magical correspondences. ✴️ Bring your chart if you want to explore your Jupiter placement. 🗓️ Ides of March LIVE Reading--I'll be doing a special LIVE reading for the Ides of March on Sunday, March 15, at 3pm ET on YouTube. Join me for the reading--and if you are live, I will pull a card for your Ides of March message! 🌳 Card of the Week (from The Herbcrafter's Tarot) ~ Madre of Earth (Queen of Pentacles). This week, feel into your abundance. Where do you truly WANT to expand and grow? Where might you be experiencing FOMO or indulging in retail therapy? The Creosote Bush is strong and thrives even in poor soil--choose wisely where you want to put your roots--lead from your heart.

I’ll definitely bring my chart for Witch’s Tea. I’m going to put Sundays live reading for the Ides of March on my calendar.
🤩 Happy Weekend!
What are your plans for this weekend? I am hoping to clean out my flower beds to get them ready for spring planting! I also started a new book--Becoming Baba Yaga by Kris Spisak. With the Moon in Scorpio for the next two days, it seems like a great time to dive into this book. Feel free to share what you have planned! Our next Witch's Tea Time is on Tuesday, March 10 at 2pm ET. I will see you then! 🩷 Kelly

Cloudy damp day here so I’m doing some reading for school. Honestly this kind of weather just makes me so low in motivation.
