I went live today for the Tea Time (Tuesday, March 17) and had some trouble getting connected to the room. And the recording did not work so no replay! 😫
During the live, I chatted about this being St. Patrick's Day--how we connect (or not) to this day for a variety of reasons. So instead of looking to the saint for advice on this day, I looked to The Morrígan instead.
The Morrígan is a triple Goddess sacred to the land of Ireland. She is integral to many of the myths and stories of that time. However, much of her mythology has probably been lost due to the lack of written records by the Celtic peoples as well as the recording of the stories by Christian missionaries (like St. Patrick!) many years later--with their own particular views.
However, we can look to what we do know about Her for messages, support, and deep work when facing personal battles or stepping into our own sovereignty. During the live, I drew a card from the Call of the Morrígan Oracle along with two cards from the Crow Tarot for a message from this ancient Goddess for today's time.
The oracle card I drew was Lady of Sovereignty--ruling over own authentic selves. The two guiding Tarot cards I drew from the Crow Tarot were The Tower and The Hierophant--when the ground seems to be crumbling underneath our feet, we can rely on our own traditions, wisdom and knowledge to build something new and better.
