More than I can chew?
So I am hoping to complete all the finishing on my Rujuu before the fashion show, but my indecision has taken hold. I purchased a length of trim to sew over the steek selvedges, then decided that maybe I could just make it on my Inkle loom instead. However, the band pattern I chose is… a challenge. At least for my current skill set. And it is taking me forever haha I wonder if I should just sew on the store-bought band and finish my woven band later? Also… which buttons?!?!

I like the top button that blends in since the pattern of the cardigan is bold.
Rujuu step 6
I just can’t figure out what I am doing!! I’m knitting size four. I have 86 stitches on my needles. I am on clue 4, which I thought was going to make this easier but alas, I am so confused! If I start at stitch four for all following rows I will not have a full set of three on the last set to form the crescent shape. I do not want to wing this and frog back on these stitches it’s bad enough I got the dominant color part wrong in the middle!🤣😂 Any advice?

For the underarm, the sections just before the BOR and just after aren't a full row. The first few rows if I remember are a little off. I did the sweater size 4. So rows 1 and 2 start on stitch 4, after BOR. Once to the next marker it's the full stitch count. Row 3 starts on stitch 7. Once you get to the section that 'sets' the pattern, it makes a little more sense. That will start on stitch 19. The set pattern section, after BOR, purl 1, start at the assigned stitch and that section will end up right up to the first stitch marker. The section right before the BOR marker, doesn't complete a full row. I hope that helps.

I'm in. I finished the rujuu sweater. I'm going to start the cardigan version to submit as my knitted item at my state fair this summer. I'm still in the process of picking out which colors to use.
Mock seam
Curious is the mock seam for design only or is there a purpose? I like to know the ins and outs of how things work.

@Zanete Hussain Thank you so much!!!
First of many!
So excited to have completed this sweater. I did the arm shaping a little different since I prefer looser sleeves. Excited to debut this tomorrow for St Patricks Day.
