EP: 14 BIG RUN WEEKEND..... CALL THE SHOT... LFG!
Alright Cake Eaters It is already that time again. Big Run Weekend is here, and if you’ve been with us for a minute, you already know what this means: WE GO BIG, WE PUSH A LITTLE HARDER ...and we find out just how dramatic our inner monologue can get when we’re climbing that last hill. This weekend, I want you to take whatever “normal” looks like for you… and PUSH the limits of it just a little farther. Not because you need the miles or the pace, but because you’ve got more in you than you think — and Big Run Weekend is where we prove it. For all our NEW MEMBERS joining us (WELCOME, by the way — you found the right group of chaos), here’s the quick rundown: Big Run Weekend is NOT just about running a marathon every Saturday or chasing some perfect pace chart. It’s about effort. It’s about doing something that scares you a little, stretches you a lot, and reminds you exactly why you started running in the first place. Your “big run” might be your first mile of the week, or the longest distance you’ve attempted in months, or maybe you’re one of those ultra-minded humans who wakes up and decides, “Let’s go suffer for fun today.” Whatever it looks like, it counts. A simple fact to remind you all of.... THIS CLUB SHOWS UP, pushes hard, and cheers for each other like we’re all chasing Olympic gold, and by olympic gold I mean a great slice of cake which is probably more enjoyable any way. The 20 mile bomb 💣 run streak is current at 4 weeks.... Will it make it on to 5 weeks straight? as the great @Kyle Dickerson says " WE SHALL SEE" ( old record stands at 8 weeks) I appreciate each and every one of you. Last weekend was nothing short of EPIC! I can't wait to see how this weekend turns out... V
