I just moved back to the mountains after 25 years in Miami. What type of jacket/coat should I look for for winter? I have my old Navy flight jacket for cold/snow type days, but I need something to wear out to dinner, brewery, things like that. I mostly wear chinos and performance pants (Rhône, Lululemon etc). I found a nice overcoat or topcoat today at Macys and it’s on Labor Day sale, it hits about the knee so I think that’s a good length, I don’t want the down filled parkas and stuff, I want something stylish. Any suggestions?

Ok so I’ve lived in south Florida for the last 25 years, for the past few years I’ve been contemplating moving back to the mountains near where I grew up. I have some newer winter clothing (sweaters, lighter winter jackets) that I wear when it gets “cold” here and when I’ve traveled to see my kids at Thanksgiving. What I don’t have is real winter jackets for like what they’ve had recently (sub freezing). What should I look for to start with? I work from home and mostly wear cotton chinos, Lululemon or Rhône performance chinos, seldomly wear jeans. I don’t like percolates, or at least the double breasted type, maybe something like that with single breast, same length. Oh and I still have my green USN heavyweight flight jacket that I will wear in snow I guess, not the leather Top Gun one, I hated those, they were not warm at all on the plane. The only thing with it is it probably one size too big since we sized up to wear them over top of survival vest (aka LPA by my fellow aviators) Thanks!

South Florida here but grew up in Virginia and northern Cal so I know fall. Just for fun I’d love to see a “What to wear in Florida fall”. I just can’t bring myself to wear fall colors and boots when it’s still 82 but the humidity is lower. For us “fall” comes in late December when it hits the upper 60s

I might be going to an 80s theme birthday party and need some decent style suggestions. Its going to be more on the casual side and not too professional. Please help!

This is a “True Classic” t-shirt. By far the best fitting T I’ve ever had, but in a quest for Great Fit, I’m being picky. Would you all agree that the shoulder seam is about 1 ½ inches too wide? It’s not as sloppy as the seam that sits halfway down the deltoid, but my shoulder bone is definitely in board of the crease. Any Tailors in our group? What measurement should I get to find an even better fit?
