A Little Idea, which will need some Planning
For my Australian Brothers (and any Sisters) on this page, where do you live? I would love to get together with any of you and have a dinner, or see a show. I am in the ACT (just outside of it actually) but would love to make a weekend, or a couple of days over the Christmas break, where we can catchup. I know we are in a totally different Time Zone compared to the US brothers and sisters and that makes the virtual catch ups harder to do, and the in person meet and greets are a long trip. So Please select your choice below for the state, and then let me know if this is something you are keen on.

Quick trip to Vienna
Winter is nearly upon us and to celebrate the last few weeks of good weather I took my three season suit out of storage for a special weekend with friends in Vienna at the end of last month. We spent a few days exploring the old town, as well as visiting museums and art galleries. A great little life break with amazing friends. Suit: bespoke 1900's by Huntsman Shirt: plain linen collarless Cravat: watch print in silk Socks: House of Cheviot Reiver Shoes: Thursday wingtip boots in dark oak Hat: Akubra Bogart Scarf loose woven cashmere Pocket watch: my own creation, skeletonized ETA 6497 in solid gold Leather satchel from a local artisan in Latvia

@Fernando Mendoza beautiful parks. Would have been a shame to waste them!
Let's talk braces (or suspenders)
Do you wear braces (suspenders)? If so, with what pants (trousers) or shirts do you style them with? I'm looking to explore the limits of them, hopefully without looking foolish. 😂 Warner EDIT: Man, tons of responses and opinions.....quite varied. Thanks to everyone who has replied and those who will in the future. I have a lot to mull over now.

Wearing them right now. I have two suits that require bracers. For everything else usually a belt
Time to get personal
Good morning gentlemen, When I was growing up as a kid we wore pajamas. As I got older I always thought pajamas as for kids and old men clothing. And I'm sure myself and many of us went through that commando period of sleeping all natural. Then there was the period of wearing sweat pants or shorts to bed. So one day not too long ago, I was re evaluating my life, style, wardrobe, I was looking at clothes online and I saw these men in pajamas and matching robes. My first immature impression was “ man, they moved into grandpa status at an early age.” But then for some reason I kept looking at these pajamas and robes. Then I was listening to one of the pod cast about gentleman’s sleep wear and they were talking about men’s pajamas. I kept thinking “ I can’t sleep in that I would feel constrained!” But then I was like “ Okay, I am going back to that to that negative common rationale of what everyone is doing.” So I made a decision that I was going to give it a try. So I went to Walmart and found a pair of men’s pajamas, thinking “ I’ll get a cheap set so if I don’t like them I am not out a lot of money.” So I bought a pair and that night I put them on. To my surprise I was not only comfortable but it was like I had the best sleep in a long time. Now, my first impression was “ I was just really tired.” So the next night I wore them again. And I continued to wear them and I was sleeping more comfortable at night. I then was like “ Man, this is amazing.” Now I started thinking I want to get some more but better quality pairs of pajamas and get matching robes to put on instead of the old robe that I had for years that most of the time hung up in the closet. So I I found a couple of sets in Satan and flannel for colder nights. But what I found out is this. I use to shower throw on some sweat pants and a old logo shirt ( that is what I use my old logo shirts for now) and read, lounge around the house, maybe watch a movie or something. But now after showering and putting on my pajamas and matching robe, I feel so relaxed and comfortable at home. I even have a pair of nice house slippers instead of the socks, flip flops, or bare foot method that I use to do,

I was given a set once by an airline. My wife stole them. Now she wears my way too baggy pajamas
Denim Recommendations
Tell me Gentlemen, is there a brand of denim you guys prefer over others. After watching several of the videos put out on YouTube, it's clear I need to update my wardrobe and Levi's aren't cutting it...🤣

I love Wrangler, but I'd need to steal them from an American tourist here to get a pair. Wish I'd never gotten rid of my old pair. I've got two pairs of Tommy Hilfiger that I've had for a few years and I haven't had any issues with them. They seem to be good quality. They'll do until my next trip to the US and I can grab another set of Wranglers
