Le Male Le Parfum Jean Paul Gaultier
Good morning gentlemen. I got this on Monday from a rack store. It’s more of a cool weather frag. But I couldn’t wait. Similar to some code and Givincy I own. Very nice.

Mail Call : Zaharoff pleasure over business and Soul Elixir can anyone say backup bottle!!!
Have been waiting all week. I love the limited release Zed Creators releases. This house continues to amaze me!!! Zaharoff Soul Elixir – Rich, smooth, and seductive with warm spices, woods, amber, vanilla, and tobacco. Smells mature, confident, and luxurious without feeling dated. Zaharoff Pleasure Over Business – Modern, stylish, and easygoing with a smooth mix of freshness, sweetness, and woods. Smells polished without being overly serious.

I know one of those is Ross's creation.
SOTD Orientica Xclusif bleu
Xclusif Oud Bleu is a rich, sweet, woody, and spicy blend. It masterfully balances a fresh, almost minty opening with a warm, creamy dry down. Top Notes: Green Apple, Lavender, Mandarin Orange, Pepper, Bergamot Heart Notes: Cardamom, Violet, Geranium, Jasmine Base Notes: Vanilla, Sandalwood, Guaiac Wood, Patchouli, Musk How It Evolves The Opening: On the initial spray, you get a sharp, juicy blast of green apple and tart mandarin mixed with a prominent, fresh lavender. There is a distinct "mentholated" or minty vibe here—very characteristic of the Layton DNA—giving it a cool, crisp sharpness. The Mid: As the citrus settles, the spices wake up. Warm cardamom and a touch of peppery warmth mix with subtle, powdery florals like violet and geranium. The Dry Down: This is where the fragrance truly shines. It transforms into a gorgeous, creamy vanilla and sandalwood blanket, backed by dark guaiac wood and a hint of earthy patchouli. It’s sweet, warm, deeply masculine, and incredibly seductive. Performance Breakdown Longevity (9.5/10): Exceptional. Because it's an extrait, this easily hits 10 to 12+ hours on the skin. If it gets on your clothes, expect to smell it days later. Projection & Sillage (9/10): It is an absolute beast for the first 3 to 4 hours, pushing out a heavy, intoxicating scent trail that will easily fill a room if you aren't careful. It eventually settles into a dense, noticeable scent bubble. Versatility: Best suited for Fall, Winter, and cooler Spring days. It's phenomenal for date nights, evenings out, or making a statement. Warning: It is way too heavy and sweet for high summer heat or the gym—it can become cloying if oversprayed. Spray Recommendation: Go easy. 2 to 3 sprays are more than enough to get you through an entire day. The Verdict If you love Parfums de Marly Layton but want to save your wallet while potentially getting even better performance, Xclusif Oud Bleu is a home run. It hits about a 95% match to the original, tilting just a fraction more spicy and patchouli-forward in the deep dry down, but delivering a massive, show-stopping aura.

SOTD Montblanc Legend Blue
Montblanc Legend Blue (launched in 2024) is a clean, reliable, and crisp addition to the highly successful Legend lineup. It steers away from the heavy, sweet bubblegum trends of recent years, opting instead for a refined, green-leaning "shower gel" aesthetic. The Scent Profile & Notes The fragrance opens with an immediate blast of crisp, cooling mint before transitioning into a smooth, slightly creamy woody structure, all anchored by a heavy dose of modern synthetic fixatives. Top Notes: Spearmint, Lavender, Bergamot Middle Notes: Cedarwood, Sandalwood Base Notes: Ambroxan and Oakmoss Concentration: Eau de Parfum (EDP). Despite the higher oil concentration, it is formulated to emphasize clean, airy freshness rather than heavy density. Longevity: Moderate (5 to 6 hours). It provides a solid performance for the first few hours on skin, though it stays a bit longer if sprayed directly onto clothing. Sillage & Projection: Moderate. It starts with a punchy, clean bubble of protection for the first hour (roughly an arm's length) before settling down into a polite, intimate scent trail that won't overwhelm an office or a gym. What It Clones / Mimics Montblanc Legend Blue is not a direct clone of a single fragrance; rather, it sits at a crossroads of a few distinct DNAs: The "Fierce" Core: It retains a dialed-back version of the original Montblanc Legend and Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce structure (the lavender and oakmoss). The Blue Twist: It infuses that classic base with a refreshing, minty shower-gel vibe. Many enthusiasts note that it wears like a smoother, more affordable alternative to upscale freshies like Parfums de Marly Percival, or a more casual, modern cousin to Chanel Platinum Égoïste. Versatility, Season, & Occasion Versatility: High (Swiss Army Knife status). This is a true "dumb reach" fragrance. It is completely inoffensive, mass-appealing, and remarkably easy to wear. Season: Spring and Summer. The prominent spearmint top note and clean ambroxan base thrive in warm weather and midday heat, though it performs perfectly fine as a year-round climate-controlled indoor scent.

@Lon Chaneyfield this one got me hooked on the opening. The mint and lavender is so good.
SOTD Vulcan Feu
French Avenue Vulcan Feu (by Fragrance World) has been making massive waves as an absolute powerhouse of a release. If you’re familiar with the high-end niche world, this is a direct, highly acclaimed "dupe" of Stéphane Humbert Lucas’s God of Fire, hitting about 90% accuracy but at a fraction of the price. It balances a loud, juicy tropical opening with a deep, sophisticated dry-down that pushes its performance into serious territory. The Scent Profile Vulcan Feu is an Oriental Fruity fragrance. It doesn’t do a dry, subtle fruit; instead, it delivers a rich, syrupy, "wet" vibe that completely grabs attention. Top Notes: Mango, Ginger, Lemon, Rhubarb Middle Notes: Pink Pepper, Jasmine, Praline, Violet Base Notes: Ambergris, Tonka Bean, Cedarwood, Moss How It Evolves The Opening: You get hit immediately with a massive blast of sweet, juicy mango and zesty lemon. The ginger and rhubarb give it a sharp, sparkling, almost fiery kick that keeps the heavy sweetness from feeling cloying right off the bat. The Mid: As the sharp citrus calms down, the mango rounds out. A touch of praline brings in a subtle, creamy sweetness, while pink pepper gives it a bit of texturized depth. The Dry-Down: This is where the fragrance grounds itself. It transitions into a warm, slightly woody, and sophisticated base. The ambergris brings a salty, mineral edge that cuts through the remaining fruit, blending with cedar and the warm sweetness of tonka bean. Performance & Presence If you like scents that pull serious weight, this one checks the boxes. It is widely considered a budget beast. Longevity: 8 to 10+ hours easily on skin. On clothes, it is incredibly stubborn—users report still smelling the mango and ginger notes a day later. Projection & Sillage: Heavy and loud for the first 2 to 3 hours. It projects far enough that people will notice you entering a room. It does settle into a closer skin scent toward the end of its life, but the trail it leaves behind early on is massive.
