Just wrapped another 48 Hour Film Project we did this weekend, with @Grant White and I'm so tired right now, but it was totally worth it!! Is anyone else doing one this summer or fall? Or did 1 recently? I know @Nick McCabe did one last year, and you may hear me recommend these in meetings just so you can get an idea of what production is like. And it's great way to write something that you know will get made! I can't release it until it plays at a movie theater next weekend, but here's a poster one of my actors made. It's titled Fantasy Football, but it's not about traditional Fantasy Football.

What Script are You Working on This Summer?

For our Write a Short Film in 21 Days Challenge (OR you can present pages for another project), we're introducing 10-Page Table Reads! Bring up to 10 NEW pages, have them read aloud, and get feedback from the group. A few rules: ✅ You must bring pages to participate. ✅ Everyone helps by reading roles in other writers' scripts. ✅ Keep it to 10 pages or less so everyone gets time. This takes place next week, on Friday! We thought of the idea during yesterday's Production meeting, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun! If we get a good number of people, we can make it a regular thing! See you all next Friday!
